We are currently figuring out the htmlpurifier issue and the problem with the search function.

 

However, I would like to know anything else that should be done while I am still active?  I will be stepping down as admin once the major issues are figured out and after the staffing changes are figured out.  I cannot say when this will be accomplished, but I will be having less and less time to spend on this site while this semester goes on.

No, I will not be leaving this site, but it has become apparent that I am no longer qualified to hold the position of admin with my lack of activity and actual attitude towards the forum itself.

 

I recently unlocked the Wii U News section and will begin moving threads into said section while I have more time.

 

I have probably asked this question before and may or may not have acted on specific suggestions, but this is pretty much the last time I will be asking, but I will be following up on suggestions which I might be able to do.

Mourn, bring the chat back for like one day, if possible. Or do you have to pay to host it? I don't care about the state of the forums at the moment, I just want to have the chat back for even a small amount of time for old time's sake.

 

Doesn't really matter if it happens or not, but it would be cool.

It's already been stated that IP.Chat is a paid extra that feld0 opted out of. It's beyond Mourn's control since he doesn't pay for the server. The only one who could bring it back is feld0 himself.

Does the search function problem also tie-in with the "I can't see any topics/posts I've made" problem, or is that a separate problem?

I guess the thing I'd say is less tied to the whole tech side and more to the general upkeep side, but make sure that power is stable before you leave. Last thing that anyone wants is drama over mods and the ilk.

For me add a members tab plz. It's something every forum should (and does) have.

I'd say just make sure the new admin (admins?) and if there's any new mods, be sure they're trustworthy so there's not any issues regarding behavior or absence (see: Feld0 and AMAC). Also, in the extremely slim chance that Feld0 comes back (or at least takes a moment to address us on what's gonna happen), I think it'd be nice to give chat another shot. Considering I don't think the funding was an issue. Even if for just a day like Blake said, it'd be nice.

I don't know which problem that is, I am able to view my previous topics/posts.  I just go to my own profile and click topics or posts.

I've already began discussions on that.  I'm not planning on immediately giving up power, I'll get Feldo to make the new admin, but I'd keep power long enough in case any problems come up.

The question is if I step down from the admin position completely, or just in name.  I'd rather step down completely, but if I need to retain some power, I can.  I'm not the only person who can contact Feldo though, he is actually pretty easy to contact (even easier if you are the "admin").

No, WUF is actually being kept up by the MLP ad revenue.

I think it went away after Feldo removed the daily online members.  I'll put it up where the chat tag used to be.

It looks like a 5 user chatroom is completely free. I doubt that would be enough, though. The previous limit was 20 users, which is about $20 a year. That's pretty easily fundable, I feel like we could achieve that amount as a community.

Not that it would be much a priority, but the submit button (and line breaks) on the desktop theme doesn't work on my phone; and the site does not automatically switch to the default theme on my mobile phones. Can't be my blackberry, because it has the highest score on the html5 test
