so i dont know how many people here are aware of this or not but battlefront 3 is extremely likely to be in mid development by spark unlimited. i was so excited when i found out how likely it is i went to their website to confirm the stuff i had heard and its true they are definitely making a new game and its extremely likely to be bf 3.

i was looking around the site and i found a questions and answers section where a whole list of questions where listed with their answers, most of the ques were about the unannounced game and next to the ques it gave the email of the dude that you should ask if you have a question. i immediately emailed him asking him whether or not there would be a wii u version of the game and if they were at least considering one. i also requested one if they werent already working on it.

surprisingly i got a reply in the same day (a few mins ago) and the guy said:

We have been recruiting for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC development running under Unreal Engine 3 (UE3). We have not mentioned whether or not there is a WiiU version. In any case, the decision would be the publisher’s and not ours. We are just the developers of the game.

im going to now look to see if i can contact the publisher (lucas arts i think right?) and request from them a wii u version.

what do you guys think, about anything to do with this?

Anyways, I've been long awaiting Star Wars Battlefront 3! For Christmas, I'm hoping to re-buy SWBF 1 & 2 for the original Xbox, so I can play it again, as I sold my PS2.

I actually was reading some information about this, either earlier today or yesterday. I came upon some info in which I read that said Free Radical was actually developing SWBF3 and was nearly complete! But no, we got The Force Unleashed instead. >

yes yes this was really hopeful 2 years ago but that project has been cancelled by lucas arts because they lost faith in freeradical for making haze (or something like that). free radical will not be making this game, its spark unlimited and they're using unreal 3 engine heres the link to the source i used, its long so you may not want to watch the whole thing:
