I had to get up early to run an errand and while they had the sign out at my walmart, they didn't have the game yet. that said, it might be a good thing, as I think I'm going to take up Gamestop- $17 for NSMBU and then with the power up deal, another 33 percent off. I'll download NSMBU.
Whew! When I got to the store (Walmart) there was literally about 4-6 people waiting to get Mario Kart 8 from the game case. Glad I came out with one!

I got my copy a few hours ago, earlier than I thought! A bit different, but awesome.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

I too am in love.
Brother and i are going through all the cups at 50cc right now. Might go to 100 and 150cc after, or matbe two player online.
The anti grav sections are hecka cool btw.

I am having a problem with online. I havent been able to play one online game. I have tried each one (regional, worldwide, friends, and tournaments) each time it keeps giving me a error code... this freaking sucks

Got mine... THOSE SWEET GWAPHICZ. Controls feel a bit slippy after getting used to karts in MKWii, but I'm adapting quickly. It's awesome that you can do multiplayer grand prix, cuz that way, I can unlock stuff with my family! Haven't gotten too far yet, but I will fix that shortly.

as everyone is saying, the graphics are gorgeous, and the speed at 150cc is insane. really feels fast compared to previous titles.
Only thing that bothers me and it has since SNES MK, is that you cant really get your a** out sideways in a 'rally' style slide. i know this is karting, not rally, but swinging it left to right around successive corners just feels so great. You can get sideways, dont get me wrong, but its quite controlled and not as loose.
Still loving it so far, and once ive knocked up a night or two of grand prix cup clearing, ill jump online.

lol cant believe i came first so many times,im usually not that good,cant wait to get some more playtime on this today! i can defo see the ps4 gathering dust for a while
