Watch_Dogs sold over 4 millions units during its first week

I do this really weird thing with video games, music and movies. I watch/play/listen to what is fun. I know! It's crazy. If something gives me some enjoyment to an extent that I think I've gotten my money's worth, I'm generally happy! I know, I should really be worried about the state of video games and the "bigger picture" but I honestly dgaf. If my buddies all want to pick up the newest COD game and play over skype a couple of hours a week? Sure, it's totally worth it. Watch dogs? It's a fun game, what's wrong with that? Do you not remember the pile of pure rainbowe that made up 95 percent of wii games? PC games? this newest trend for paying for a game that isn't even finished yet? I'm sorry, but sometimes I want a big budget, stupid popcorn movie/game to enjoy for a time.

I get tired of all of this hyperbole about the state of video games. Play what you want, don't play what you don't want. If you can't find something you want? All the better. Learn a frickin language or something.

Yeah that sounds great in the same way "Who cares about the enviroment? The world is ours, and i want cool stuff, so keep drilling and chopping away."

Yeah, you get your games and your fun, but it won't last. If you keep sucking the crack dealers dick for less and less crack, he's going to take advantage of you. Eventually you'll being sucking away for so little you can't even get high anymore. Then what's the point?

Oh and then the market could crash, and you won't be able to find crack anywhere. Fun times.

And that's not even bringing up the fact that that attitude also means misery for the devs who are getting the crap kicked out of them by piece of crap publishers like EA. Once again, yay you get your fun, it only cost someone else's job stability and loss of love for what they do!
