NiceI would like something that's similar to Twilight Princess in design, but with a mixed color palette. Not too dark, not too bright like Windwaker, but more like Ocarina of Time.
In regards to the story, I want to see something new. I think changing the character's roles could give the game's story a fresh and unique feel.
Dark and gritty makes me feel depressed...I'm hoping for a dark and gritty Zelda game. With a open world similar to Skyrim but with that Nintendo charm. Man the Zelda hype train is Rollin
Sounds confusingwhat does the triforce (or the gamecube) have anything to do with it?
as for how they are linked, its assumed link died in the events for majora's mask and he died in lost woods (as seen in the intro) and if you die in lost woods, you turn into stalfos, and the stalfos that teaches you all the hidden skills straight uptold you that he was the hero of time, soooooooo ya
Link should battle skeletor. And the master sword should transform him into He-Link!!
...
Or something...
And epona should be a giant green tiger...
But please... Please! No more ganonDORF! It just sounds so lame. Just plain ganon or preferably someone new.
Who's gonna be skeletor?

I think Nintendo games look the best when they are in brighter colors. A dark Zelda is not bad but i really hate games that are just grey, white, and black. You can still have a dark Zelda story and the game is full of color, just look at Disney.

I hope they show off something that really shows what the Wii U can do

I think games in general are nicer when there's a variety of colour. If gaming is an art form, why should all the art look the same?

I just think it would be cool to see a really old, senile Link somewhere in there (not as the main character, maybe as a supporting character, or even just in a flashback/forward or something). I don't think we've ever actually witnessed Link near to death from old age/dying from old before, have we?
No we havent. The closest we ever got was Spirit tracks which had an old man version of Niko, who knew the previous link from Windwaker/phantom hour glass.
I just want something I'd feel like replaying. The only game in the series that matches this description is OoT.
Interesting.
Oot and TP are the two Zelda games I have the hardest time with replaying all the way through. I think with Oot its probably because it is the personification of the 'Zelda formula' to the point of becoming the literal (real) definition of generic. Again, I mean the real definition, and not the slang term with the negative connotation, generic as in 'Defines a genre' Its what describes the essence of 3d Zelda.... And as such, makes it a bit... boring to me in comparison to the other 'themed' Zeldas.
What aspects 'Make' a zelda game for you?
For me its exploring the overworld and towns, the more secrets/unexplored areas my aquired items find me the better.

closest we got to a old Link I know of was the skeleton warrior in TP. That was Link from Oot.

It's in the Hyrule Historia that that is Link from OoT. Passing down his skills to a new Hero.

I like it, it's basically the Zelda U demo from 2011 but all pastel looking,it doesn't really look like Link though, but if they make it look something like they with mario and luigi Dream Team....
^This would look nice in cut scenes or at the beginning when they are telling the story actually
