This game has epic battles and new style of gameplay.

Question is will this game sell well the answer is no, looking at all console format pre-orders it's not even at no.10, maybe things might change, when date is getting closer it's looking really bad only game is doing well is Hyrule Warriors.

Note: Only 2 games are selling well Mario Kart 8 & Pre-Order of Hyrule warriors for 2014.

The date for Bayonetta 2 can be correct as they always say it's Oct 2014, well their is no date.

Do you speak English?

Christ it's been confirmed for a October release and you make claims with no proof that Bayonetta 2 has been delayed to November 21st then when asked for proof you go on about some BS.

that means this game needs to do BIG numbers i think we can all make this a 2million + seller.... WE CAN DO IT. POSITIVE THOUGHTS

By the look of some of these screens this game could really do with some AA.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

Not really.

Maybe if it was a ps3 game on the ps4 that couldnt handle AA at 60fps I would be slightly harsher about it.

But even then, the last of us @60fps craps all over the last of us @30fps with AA. So i guess not.

AA is great for screenshots, for motion higher frame rates crap on AA from orbit, particularly if you are a sane person who plays on a couch 6+ feet away from your TV. I would always like some nice AA to clean up certain lines, but if it comes at the cost of framerate performance, its grossly not worth it. Not even a contest. no tearing +60fps>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AA

Okay so sorry for the bump but I was doing some research on the Bayo 1+2 thing and it's weird, multiple sites claim different things. Now I'm looking for what the deal is with Europe. So far I've read that all versions come with a download code, that digital gets a code and physical gets disk, that both 1 and 2 are on the eshop and 2 will be cheaper because it won't have the first and even that only the special edition of Bayo 2 gets the first game.

By now I'm heavily confused so if somebody could give me a definitive anwser thst would be lovely.

Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am

since the newest set of screenshots seem to be showing different costumes for bayonetta, think they'll be unlockable to play in fully throughout the game or just for certain areas and story moments?

Having played the game from what I can tell its not graphically superior to the first game on the PS3 and Xbox 360. That's not to say its bad by any means. Anyone who played the first game or wanted to and couldn't will probably like and be impressed by it and the sequel on the Wii U. Its basically more of the same.

Dude, it comes with the first game on wii u, except remastered at a locked@60 fps and with no screen tearing, and the second game craps on the first one from space visually. The only thing you are saying is you have a really, really, REALLY bad eye for this kind of thing.Like, its not even subtle.bayonetta-20091104072250078-3045992_640wLike, route 666 which back then was an awesome highspeed action sequence, until you stop and actually look at it. Pathetic low poly repeating background, with low res textures, with low poly low res textured cars and trucks, with the exact same models repeated over and over and over and over again, with just different colors.

Bayonetta2_Screen_4.jpg
Bayonetta2_Screen_5.jpg
Bayonetta2_Screen_8.jpg

This is all one area, one WHOLE area, not a treadmill of repeating assets like route 666, and bayonetta 1's other similar event stages. You fly throughout the entire city on a jet, a persistant city, again, not a tradmill like the first game.

And then, after destroying the jet, and going on a train, and destroying the train, and a tram, and on foot, and on flying rubble.....

You go to the biggest building in the city, which has been there the whole time,

Bayonetta2_Screen_3.jpg

And get in a boss fight with a creature so massive the ps360 could only render its HEAD and only in CUTSCENES. And here the whole thing comes out, with a vastly improved model, and is a real time boss fight, OVER THE CITY YOU HAVE BEEN FLYING THROUGH, at sun down, while the city is being sucked through a portal, and then, you summon an even BIGGER full bodied demon to kill it.

Thats not just better, thats a curb stomp.

This link shows the difference between real locations and locations in game. Hard to tell the difference in some.

http://platinumgames...-damage-motion/

This link shows the difference between animations of the first game vs the second.

Bayonetta 2 her guns use 5000 Polygons alone that is more than double of the first game.

Wii U is excellent at lighting and again Bayonetta 2 is happy to show that

Thats pretty interesting. Thats all CPU end. The reason the ps360 games coudnt do that is because their cpu's are piped too deep and are in order processors.

Mispredicting the animation that is dependent on the players choice of move would cause a stall in the pipeline, as the wrong fetched animation, and everything behind it would have to be flushed before that line could continue, a penalty often as high a loss as 400-500 cycles (a loss of Half a Ghz processing power) which would be represented on screen to the player as a horrible stutter mid combo.

Wii u's short piped lines can actually stomache a miss, have to look up my 750 documentation to see what that feature is called, and should a consecutive miss stack up, the penalty would only be... 4 cycles. That would be about 8 360/ps360 cycles lost considering the processors have about 2x the cycles per second as wii u (3.56 Ghz vs 1.2 Ghz) although such a direct comparison isnt really practical.
