Artsyle wise it doesn't, and just because we saw Link at the top of a large hill doesn't mean it's gonna be like that game :P

And it's beautiful, I just hope the world feels useful, this game HAS to have at least 20 dungeons to make use of that amazing over world.

Did I say art style? No, no I did not. I specifically said scene composition because that was what I was talking about, if I was talking about art style, I would have said art style. I am talking content, composition of a scene.

Scene composition>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Art style, because content takes precedence over form.

and it is deliberately identical here.

It can still have 5-6 main dungeon areas but with a world this size do what any other big wordl Zelda or even RPG does. A lot of sidequests and stuff to discover and mini dungeons. Towns and people.

It already is. Zelda U's approach in world design and dungeon design is the same as Zelda on NES from everything they described

Heck no, I want it to be FULL of dungeons, lots of rewarding side quests, mini dungeons that give you special materials to upgrade your items that aren't found anywhere else, towns that have their own little story with cutscenes and everthing, what you do at a certain point depends on when you do it.

Well no, link doesn't look the same obviously, and it's not an exact copy, but the mountains way off in the distance, the grassy sections and bodies of water inbetween? Yeah, that's pretty close. Much closer than any other Zelda gme has ever gotten.

Oh, ookie :)

So much reading...

Nonetheless, it looks pretty.

wtf

Looking back at it, he stands like he stood in Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. Link's lower half looks very much like the older 3D games.

Shuddup I'm just searching for flaws. At least I'm not calling the world empty...

I wonder if they'll be able to make the world feel as populated as they want it to be, from what we saw in the demo it's not very populated (cities may be different, though).

Crap.

Only a Zelda trailer gets people excited enough to pick it apart to the point they start looking at the amount of space between people's legs.

I think after the TP reveal in 2004 people were looking at tree branches and analyzing them thinking it was some woods creature.

They thought that tree was a giant creature. People looked so far into it including the water as if it meant something special. Best part is this did not make it into the final game.

I can honestly say that I didn't go into the game awards expecting Nintendo to have the best showing, especially after last year.
