Nintendo gone and done it now. E3 is supposed to get people excited for a consoles upcoming games hence temt people into buying your hardware for them, plus of course the available games already out.

No denying Wii U does have a good library of first party software but I fully expect hardware sales to be embarrassing from now on. Sure Zelda will sell a few but what's the point when Nintendo have clearly shown they don't respect their customers.

All that money, old franchises with huge fan request, a console still young with lots of controller options to take advantage of and developer talent at their disposal and what do they do? Starfox64.

I might come across as a moaner lately and not my usual self so I apologise for that but its Nintendo and the way things are that I seem to rant about on here.

Of course it doesn't affect me really, games consoles and poor sales is something the manufacturer should worry about, not us but its still frustrating to see this ship go down when I have enjoyed its games and wanted more effort from Nintendo.

Kids who want to be squids. The wii u has a solid lineup still to come this year. Next year, it's a toss up and we'll see what happens.

Sales wise, it will continue as is for the most part.

Maybe people who like to play great games like ZombiU, Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, Monster Hunter 3U and so on. And those, like me, who are looking forward to Xenoblade and Zelda.

You know, this would have been the perfect opportunity for Nintendo to announce a price cut on the Wii U.

Yeah I was thinking about this, they may be in a better position to do this come fall in time for holidays.. possibly. They are making money on hardware, even if its selling in lower numbers compared to the others. They would have to weigh the benefits of a price cut and see how it stacks up to the handheld price too. 

 

You don't want to undermine the handheld by offering your current home console cheaper.

Just looking back at Gamecube it seems as if it was the last real home console by Nintendo that they believed in.

It really did appeal to anyone of any age and had some killer underappecaited games with not one but two Zelda's, two Metroid Prime, two Pikmin and support from Nintendo right to the bitter end even though sales weren't great.

That's the kind of effort I'm talking about, laziness and the negative way of thinking since it has bad sales why bother attitude with Wii U.

I'm basically in this boat for awhile. After I can get a Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition and a Just Cause 3 CE preorder in, that's all the games I'm buying for a long while. :T
