I don't think the controller's screen is HD.

So long as the frame rate is good, I don't think the camera needs to be uber amazing, it'll just be used for video chat after all.

well thats all we know as of right now. Nintendo out of all companies know's how to use there hardware and i doubt that they would implement a camera just so they could have video chat.

Why else would they have it? It's a home console, not a portable device. The controller isn't even supposed to be portable, so I wouldn't see the point in wasting time on a camera app.

i just dont see Nintendo of all companies adding a feature to there controller that would only be used for one very simple purpose. they are the type to use all there features they have in a unique way i think it would be crazy if they didnt find a way to implement it in one of there games.

Actually, You can take pictures of yourself and email it. Or post it on Facebook or something. You playing your wiiu with friends during a party at your house can be a good picture. Same thing with recording, you can record house videos.

You can also use it for games. You know MarioKart Arcade version, you take pictures of yourself than it puts it on the characters face.

And you never know Nintendo can add more features. They could make it portable, but it's unlikely.
Taking pictures in-game is another idea, say if you just did an awesome accomplishment. You can take a picture of it.

Yes, It won't be a very huge feature. I find it being used in games like photo dojo, that game was fun.

I see the camera being used sort of like it was on Star Fox 64 3D, showing reactions to deaths and stuff. But they'll probably have the default settings be transmit only to friends.

exactly i dont see the camera or any feature nintendo implements ever being limited to just a simple feature
