Nice controller designs. I particularly like the Nstream device. It might well be that Nintendo go with a controller that looks like a pad, perhaps with an even more conservative look than this. I think they will try not to scare away the casual gamers they have worked so hard to get and, they may think, a standard games controller might put such people off. If it has all the buttons and analogue pads and the console itself has enough good games, then most hardcore gamers would come around, despite the grumbles.

I think the big selling point for Cafe will be its ability to stream content to the controller screen. All the other bells and whistles, touch-screen, camera, haptic-feedback would be nice, but secondary to such a massive change. I really think that such a device would prove very popular. As has been mentioned, not just to stream games, but the internet, music, T.V., films etc. If each family member had one, and they could all operate at the same time, that would be a huge selling point. Especially if parents could monitor each handset on the main T.V. screen.

I'm trying not to put too much stock in the more "out-there" ideas, like the touch-screen, camera or haptic-feedback, nice as they would be, the handset come personal-entertainment-pad would be something special on it's own.

Whatever the final design might be, we can guarantee that there will be plenty of people complaining that their favourite rumour/wish was not implemented and, because of that, "Nintendo has blown it!".

I hope that if it's 50% more than the PS3, that when the competitor's consoles come out, the Wii U is underpowered like the the Wii was.

According to Reggie Fils-Aime in an interview with EFE released today, we've only seen around 10% of what the Wii U is capable of. We're nowhere even near the point where the hardware can be judged, and what we have seen already looks up-to-snuff.

Actually, that is referring to the console as a whole and not just hardwarewise, but I'm sure we should also take note from this that there's plenty left under the hood we haven't been told about.
