PSN to be called SEN tomorrow

So as the title says, don't know if it's been posted yet but the PSN will be known as SEN(Sony Entertainment Network) and i want to know how you guys feel about it? :x

Doesn't apply to the psp apparently, everything else though.

Typical Sony copying Nintendo. Right after the Nintendo Network is announced, Sony has to go and copy it. <_<

LOL, sorry, I couldn't help myself. :D That would be really sad if someone said that and meant it.

I don't have a Playstation so this doesn't really affect me, but I do think it will take a while for everyone to get use to.

In all honesty...I don't care what the service is called. It's the same service right? Then it's just meh for me. :T

Lol, yeah, wasn't really thinking about putting a poll at the time. xD but yeah, basically the same service, from what i've read, it's just a name change. :)

Eh, It's probably their way of combining all sony online accounts, I doubt this will have much impact on anything.

That's what i'm thinking too, and they did mention that online services -- and login details -- will remain the same.

We could extract a few implications from this change if you wanna be creative. Like Sony planning on dropping the Playstation brand name for something else? That's probably unlikely, but not really out of the question.

Though from what I've read, PSN isn't being dropped. The service will still be in tact, but the account used to access it will now be a SEN account. This works toward Sony's convergence plans too - Having a universal media account to access any of of Sony's services.
