They should have a steeering whell accesory for the wii u. You simply place the wii u controller on the steering wheel and then you drive with it. Like the one made for Mariokart Wii.

I can't really say for sure until I've held the controller, but I think that the remote itself is similar enough to a steering wheel that an accessory would just be a waste.

I would rather just prefer to tilt the controller itself for turning.Similar to how on the 3ds you can just tilt the machine

I'm not that fussed about a steering wheel add-on to be honest. I'm sure a third party or Nintendo will make one, but I'd be happy just to turn the controller itself. It works pretty well with iPad games just to turn the device. I also think that a steering wheel could make the controller unnecessarily big and heavy.

It works like the one on wii not looks like it. I want it to look like the xbox ones it has two handles on each side not a full wheel.

No accessory is needed. As far as what it can do would be nice. Touch the screen to make it a rear view mirror (in this mode the picture would stay right side up and not move with the wheel/controller turning.)

I'm sure thousands or at least 10 ideas come come about easily.

I have mixed feelings about this. Though I do like the steering wheel add on the controller is kinda big and somewhat shaped like a wheel. Although I would like something that you can attach to something and make it look like this:
