Wouldnt that be awesome!? Imagine the whole mario universe in HD. Heck it could be named Super Mario "U"niverse! Without the quotes of course.

as awesome as it would be, im sure nintendo already said they dont wanna keep going with the space theme for a third time in a row. mario sunshine 2 on the other hand would be just as awesome and at least has a chance of happening

While that would fit well, I don't think it will happen. My guess is that Nintendo will come up with a whole new theme for the game, or make a SM64 2 (though with a different name). Knowing Nintendo, it's going to be good regardless.

As neat as this would be, it wouldn't be wise for the next Mario game to be another Galaxy sequel. :X

I've dreamt of that since forever.

I do agree, because it's just a thought. But i wouldnt imagine it happening.

yh man, if i remember correctly, someone once told me on this forum that someone at nintendo was considering it for wii u, i really think it might happen

But Super Smash Bros Universe is the rumored name of the Wii U Smash Bros...we cant have two Wii U games with Universe in it.

As great as it would be, I doubt Nintendo would go with the space theme again with Mario.
However I'm all for it! Space environments in crisp 1080p HD....bliss.

That rumor was started WAY before production on the new Smash Bros. even started, so I doubt that it's the real name.

As for the OP, I don't think so. As cool as it looks, I want a brand new Mario game for the Wii U.

But whatever new Mario game comes out, you can bet that it will be good!

What do you think would be the possible features if it were true? I think:
-Play as different characters.(Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, etc.)
-if you have the game, you can use the Mario Galaxy Game Stage in Super smash bros U.
-Maybe the game comes with special item statues. If you have enough points, you can use NFC to use the item for mario. Like rock mario item can be a plastic rock and when you swipe it against the controller, and mario will have that power.
Thats just a few. What about you?

I wouldn't mind another Super Mario Galaxy... If you ask me, Sunshine is horrible in comparison to the Galaxy series.
