I'm not really surprised by this leak, although I will be picking up this game on the Wii U if it releases on it.
What are your thoughts?

FPS Russia claims that this technology won't be around for the next ten years.
I'm pretty curious to see what direction Treyarch will take the sequel, as I feel like I'm one of the few who liked Black Ops.

There is speculation that Black Ops II will take place in the near-future based on this video of a demonstration of a quadrotor drone, which was linked from the main site.

This could be really awesome if it's actually true. Cold War setting is cool and all, but I think Treyarch has shown that they're not the type to stick with one time or setting when they make a new game. If Black Ops 2 is near future, then hopefully next year we'll get Future Warfare set even further beyond that. Maybe an opportunity to tie the storylines of all the CoD games together?

Besides Metroid, and that was only prime
If this is at launch for the Wii U, I might just play my first FPS

I was hoping that the rumours about it being called Call of Duty Eclipse were true, but oh well. Black Ops 1 was amazing so I have absolutely no doubts that BO2 will be the same.

Drones.... Hopefully they can do this setting better than Homefront developer Kaos Studios
I've never played a FPS before, ever.

Some people may think Call of Duty is overrated (which it is), but it can actually be really fun. It all depends on what you like.
I hope you enjoy your first CoD game.

Treyarch's Call of Duty tends to take place on a separate universe from Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare series, so I don't see Black Ops II crossing over. Who knows? They might canonize the zombie mini-game story in the sequel.

They should also consider having both CoD Zombies and Spec Ops modes.
Perk Evolution. Players should choose in what way a perk powers up instead of having set fixes. Throw in that RPG element right there for some really interesting options.
Get back to being a soldier, not an elite. Or at least start of a standard soldier. I want war, not super sneaky spec missions. Game needs more "OH SHI-! Everyone is dying around me!" not "Alright, you put a claymore there, and it will kill 50 people in an unlikely chain of explosions".
Reinforced teamwork. Get bonuses for teamplay. It's becoming a more and more common staple in multiplayer shooters, and last I checked, CoD doesn't have much of it.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

That would be great for selling the Wii U.

Is there a chance that this could come to the Wii U earlier than most consoles?

Probably not. It will most likely release on 11/13/12 along with all of the ports.

But even if this title has zombies mode, I would still have to think about getting it.
Don't worry, it'll come to the Wii U. No doubt about that.

Video Chat should only be with friends.
Yeah. I don't want some random person looking at me. That is just wrong!
