I am expecting some sort of third-party cooling stand to be made. I can see the Wii U generating tons of heat.
yea, they should just recase the whole thing becouse its ugly and its over-long when it just could be a little bit fatter like the xbox 360

I don't know about you Baroque but I know one thing I will keep mine on its side. It takes up less space that way.*cancels preorder*

I crammed my Wii upright in a small cabinet below my TV. I wasn't sure if it would fit on its side, but after measuring using the System details on Nintendo's E3 Website, it will just barely fit. I would still prefer it upright so I don't need to pile stuff on top of it.
shouldn't be cramming it into anything tbh, a console, just like a pc, needs enough room around it so it can get rid of the hot air and get fresh cold air. This console is going to generate a lot more heat than a wii and stacking things on top of it or around it might cause it to overheat.
Besides that, I don't own a wii myself, but I really don't mind how my console sits or stands.
(I was thinking of buying a Wii cause of Skyword Sword but then now I may as well just wait till Wii U and then buy SSBB, SMG1/2, DKCR, TP, SS and bye bye life for a while )

yea, the wii u is only a small amount bigger than the wii and just the wii gets pretty warm so hope the wii u doesnt overheat.
