yea, haters will hate, you and i called it if we hear anything between now and launch about wii u being weak powered, copied the controller, or how the game pad is still a kiddie tool

Well now, games like Call of Duty on the Wii U have almost comparable experience. (Almost meaning that the Wii U version will be better, since providing many layouts to use for playing.)

I loved this Nintendo Direct episode. Especially that skit with the crazy dude. That Miiverse looks like it's going to be awesome!

Yeah, the game was suspended because he resumed playing straight into the game after the video chat ended.

The miiverse is always running in the background.
The player paused the game to videochat.

Game was most likely suspended, if a game is suspended it really doesn't mean cross game video chat. Cross game video chat can only be if video chat is going on while the game is being played in real time.

Pretty much, though of course this will be denied by the overzealous. If you swap the 4 buttons with the right analog, it is essentially a 360 controller with a few gimicks. Not like that's a bad thing gameplay wise, as it's one of the best controllers made in recent memory but it's a hate magnet from the Xbox fanboys.

Why?
The video chat shown clearly shows that it doesn't matter what game you're playing, you'll be able to video chat.
I do get what you're saying though.
I expect it to be confirmed, but it hasn't been yet.

If Nintendo's main press conference is as exciting and impressive as Nintendo Direct then they are going to be the best of E3 regards the three console brands. It looks like they have no plans to announce the price or release date as of yet and those would certainly have been the icing on the cake.
