living room, if it has good calibration and can do enough on the tablet itself

wii was always in my room because i could get the sensor bar to position the cursor where you were pointing and it was cool like that
the wiiu absolutely must have a sensor bar calibration, above-below tv configurations will make me want to shoot iwota in the foot

The living room in my house contains the only HDTV, so that's pretty much my only option.

I never even thought about that. Pure genius. Wait, it may need to still get signal from the Wii U console itself so I'm not sure if the connection will be strong enough to allow that. We need confirmation from Nintendo!

Bedroom. Luckily, I have a HD TV in my room. At Christmas time, I will bring it downstairs though.

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

Last time they said the signal might not be strong enough, but my bathroom is only in the other room, it's enough for me to mess around with the PS3 controller in there. Fingers crossed for that.

I'd also like to see a wireless HDMI dongle for switching to a second TV upstairs in the future!

There are many people who have more than one console at home.
For example, one person who has PS3 in the living room, migth put it in the bedroom, for those "hardcore" single player experiences, and buy a Wii U for the living room for those family/friends experiences!
Wii U will have hardcore games, but most of them won't be on sales when the Wii U come out, only in the future. PS3 has already many hardcore games, so I think that's a good idea ! ;)
And the same for the Xbox!

My room, it is currently the only room in my house that has an HD television. I'm planning on moving some things around in my room so I have a big open area for games that use Wii Remotes or the Balance Board.

I'll put it in my bedroom since I have my 32" LCD HD TV there and my roommates would do nothing but break it or spill something on it. I can't trust them with my expensive goodies :D Plus I want to play it late at night in my bed or in my boxers.

I would no doubt be taking my controller into the bathroom. Ahh, the glories of living by yourself. :)
