Senior Producer of F1 2012 stated that F1 will not see a yearly release on Wii U due to its casual audience.
Personally I could care less about F1, I'm just wondering where Dirt from the E3 2011 lineup is!?!
Plus IMO, If Nintendo really wanted to get a Hardcore demographic, they would say so, hmmm kinda like they have been, oh and look! We're getting all of these Hardcore games like Black Ops 2, Ninja Gaiden 3, or Mass Effect 3!

from what i remember there wasonly like two developers including codemasters that doesnt really like the wii u. and thats awesom compared to what previous consoles have had for support. dont worry if they are smart they will jump on the wii u bandwagon.I'm a bit disappointed about that, although if they release an F1 game on the Wii U every two years, I'd be able to cope. I also think it's a bit worrying for Nintendo that Codemasters, and possibly other developers, doubt their ability to sell the Wii U to hardcore gamers.

It doesn't have any audience. It's not out yet.
Developers like this intellectually challenged fellow depermine who the audience will be by supplying games that attract an audience.
Also, he clearly ignored nintendos commitment to recapturing the hardcore market.

Just wait until its released then we can truly see how "casual" the system is.

Nintendo is smart. It is always innovative. It has demonstrated its breakthrough ability in the past, so let’s see if it can do it again. And the industry should cheer it on.
We will be doing Dirt and F1 for Wii U.

Fine then, Project Cars will do me fine!
Yeah, I think Project Cars looks amazing anyway. If Project Cars does really well they might rethink this decision...
