I guess Microsoft is really pushing to get that ugly tile design.

One of the reasons I won't even touch Windows 8.

I personally don't think it matches the products that they are trying to sell. It would be like Nintendo changing their logo to a naked woman with a snake crawling across her. Well maybe not that extreme but you get the point. It is too boring, and doesn't jump out at you.

I don't really get all the hate. I personally think the logo is alright, it's almost the same as the last one.

But it's Microsoft. We as Nintendo fans don't like Microsoft so we're just going to say the logo is bad.

Just like the Windows 8 metro interface.

I like it. I think it looks simple and friendly. It's also pretty cool how each tile means something now :)

Bing sucks in my oppinion, my toolbar keeps changing to it and Yahoo, instead of google, it's really annoying!
I think the logo looks alright, could do better though :/

the new logo represents the new money grubbing microsoft that is slowly taking over everything and making them only usable through microsoft products, big whoop

But it's Microsoft. We as Nintendo fans don't like Microsoft so we're just going to say the logo is bad.

i actually hate microsoft because of windows, especially windows8, my hate stems from being a linux fan

It looks like they're trying to be more modern and crisp, etc. I prefer the old logo because it's practically classic but the new one is okay.

I really hate this logo. I have their old logo printed on the mouse that I am using, and I thought it looked great. If the new logo was on it, I would cringe every time I had to touch that mouse. The font got a lot more generic, and I don't like that. I didn't know that the squares represented a product, when I first saw this, but it doesn't make me like those squares anymore. It just looks poorly put together also.

And remember: someone got paid to think up of that logo.
