I think that they could do both a 3rd person & 1st person view on the new Wii U Metroid, such as the screen on the Wii U controller could be used to view the action in 1st person, while what we see on the TV could be displayed in a 3rd person view. I don't know just something I think they should try to do...
I've thought of this, but I think it would be kind of awkward. But eh, I don't know.
