The latest issue of Famitsu has a few tidbits on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in its latest issue. Perhaps the biggest news of all is that the Wii U version will support 1080p.
Information from the magazine includes:

- Supports full HD/1080p
- Supports PCM 5.1ch surround sound
- Can use the 3DS touch screen features through the Wii U GamePad
- Once again, can play with others online
- 3DS players can connect with up to three others locally
- Famitsu reconfirms that you can transfer save data between versions with a free app

OH GODDAMN I'M TOO EXCITED!!! They literally can take a dump in a snapcase on which is written Monster Hunter and I'd still buy it! Yes that's how fanboy I am when it comes to Monster Hunter

I hope that Full HD means 1080p native (I really don't care because my tv is 720p) but anyways I'm excited to play this in the Wii U.

Looks good, hopefully they will fix up some of the textures in the village as they still seem to lack luster.
I loved MH Tri on Wii and found it quite disturbing to find the controller bundle edition was selling for only $34 at JB-HI-FI. Hopefully Capcom can us gamers a reason to buy the game a second time over.

EVEN THOUGH it is a 3DS/Wii port.. It looks quite ugly. I was wondering if some screens were the 3DS version.
