Looks like one will be pretty much a multimedia machine with downloadable content and the regular system will handle all the newer games.

With the PS4 there will be in-game adds and you will be required to register games online. So I suggest the Wii U.even if nextbox is super duper amazing, not buying it... lol... The only consoles I was between and still am... is ps4 and wii U...

A $149 next-gen Xbox for your living room that replaces your set-top box, plays Blu-Rays, has Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube, as well as plays some XBL Arcade games? It does make sense. Don't forget, Blu-Ray players are $100 standalone, so for another $50, you get games and all the aforementioned? Might be good!

If this passes through I could easily see Microsoft losing their fanboys. I think the Wii U is safe,
With the PS4 there will be in-game adds and you will be required to register games online. So I suggest the Wii U.
If ps4 requires online, be able to play (like steam and origin).. I will avoid that also, i am not interested about that. Wii U it is very expensive at this point (current gen comparable), so I will just wait a bit and see how it goes.
As for xbox360, i have bad experience, also it is rumored, that microsoft will plasie the cloud gaming with nextbox. And I will never give any penny to a "cloud service", its more like bubbles... I want to own the things I buy.. not rent them and save small traces of it. Wii U and current gen, will have more chances to extend their lifespan, if sony and ms, follow "online methods only" for their next gen games... Only US customers will buy that (cloud services), not the other countries.

Lolwut. I am actually curious on how MS will market this.
Quite terribly considering their own reps can't explain the difference between Windows RT and Windows 8.
