Sega does what Nintendon't

Nintendo is what Genesisn't.

Okay, that was lame.

I remember my brother and I both wanted the SNES for Christmas, but on Christmas morning we unpacked the Genesis. I remember being upset, but there were a lot of great games. Phantasy Star 2,3, and 4 (honestly, I loved 3 the most - and that is the most hated). Shining Force 1 and 2, and Shining in the Darkness. There were a lot of great games.

That being said, we later got a SNES -- and by far I think it was better. Final Fantasy was enough to sway me in that opinion. Breath of Fire 1 and 2. Secret of Mana and the Secret of Evermore. So many great games. Legend of Gaia -- I still have most of these - lol.... SNES was great... the Good ol' days of gaming...

I had both and the genesis was just the better console to me. From the games to the sic button controller i had for it, and even that badass genesis
Music was better to me.

They are both nostalgic, and I had my favorite memories from the snes, but I introduced my little cousins to gaming with the Genesis. I'll go with Genesis.

The Genesis had more Decent games...The SNES had AAA titles drop once or twice a year. I owned both but Genesis was better for gamers

Don't do this to me, please. Both of these consoles are my all-time favorites. I couldn't choose between them. It's like choosing between my mother or my sister. I love them both equally. Where's the both option? lol.

lol asking which is best on a nintendo forum err let me guess which will win for what it's worth the sonic game was imo way better than mario.

I grow up with this war between sega and nintendo... SNES got better graphics but genesis got faster cpu... (thats what I remember from it.)

in the old gaming age we always new the specs of our machines... and it was more like

snes
50 charcters at the same time
768.xxx colors in the screen
blablabla
dedicated sound chip

megadrive was a bit better in the

more characters in the screen at the same time..
less colors
fasters cpu

That's true, but it was only for the first year or two since it launched. By the time Sonic the Hedgehog came out, every Genesis was bundled with Sonic ( and later Sonic 2).
