I live in the sub Tropics of Queensland Australia and it's summer here.
Has Nintendo built Wii U to operate in hot tempures for very long hours?
Should I be worried. I pickup my Wii U tomorrow.

The wii u has great airflow and relatively low wattage requirements.

It's designed to run fine without coming anywhere close to overheating.

The computer you're posting from would be more likely to overheat just browsing the web.

It will be fine, as long as you give it a rest from time to time and don't play it in direct sun light.

You won't have any issues - mine hasn't gotten hot to the touch at all. Keep it off carpets and in an open air flow areas and you should be ok.

Yeah man Wii U doesn't get hot at all. I was impressed when me and N were playing and we had the system on the couch hooked up. We were playing it for at least two or more hours. And a couch isn't exactly the best place to keep your system cool. I felt it to see if it was getting hot, and nothing. Not a bit of extreme heat, just normal being on heat. I don't think people are going to have a problem at all with it overheating, even on a hot day or in a hot environment.
