So apparently a Swedish retailer has listed "The Legend of Paper Zelda" as an upcoming Wii U game. Of course it's not confirmed or anything, but with the information we have had about that it will have some new style of graphics, it's possible. I think it would be awesome, since paper mario rocks, but what do you think?

This is probably not that reliable if you look at the comments of zelda universe someone there is saying something about cdon not being reliable so yeah this rumor may just be a rumor

I don't really see this happening, and I'll be kind of annoyed if Nintendo has people developing this instead of a Zelda game like that E3 demo.

I'm dubious about this to say the least. I haven't heard anything about this from Nintendo or any reliable sources, so I've no idea where this retailer got this idea from. I'm guessing someone confused the Legend of Zelda and Paper Mario.

On one hand this is most likely fake, but on the other hand I'm curious as to what a Paper Zelda game would be like.

The more I think about this game, the more interested I am in the idea. Think about it. One of the great things about the Paper Mario games is how they don't take themselves too seriously, and even tend to make fun of certain aspects of the Mario franchise such as Peach always getting kidnapped. There are a lot of things in Zelda that they could do this with, such as Link breaking pots without getting into trouble, the killer chickens, the timeline that no one can make any sense out of, Link rarely saying anything(the only two times he has ever said anything is "come on" in Wind Waker and "I found a mirror under the table" in Zelda II),Ganon never staying dead, and how every hero in Hyrule's history has been named Link. I'm really starting to think Nintendo's sitting on a gold mine here.

In retrospect a paper zelda game would definitely be great, BUT I'm still more excited for a full on next-gen Zelda game.

It's probably fake but it would be quite interesting if it were true. It would actually be quite an awesome launch title if it were true.

With the cel-shaded games Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, I think this is a rather silly direction for the Zelda series.

I wouldn't mind Paper Nintendo cameos in Paper Mario games, but that's as far as I would want it to go.
