Do you think I will like Tri Ultimate better? Is it just because that was the PSP version that its significantly more primitive?

Yes the PSP version is significantly more primitive AND it is known as a really bad Monster Hunter game. The reviews are pretty much horrible. Gamespot gave it a 6.5/10. Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate would be way better and more confortable. The game starts slowly though as you'll start only by killing minions and collecting mushrooms (offline) but once the tutorial done, dang it gets intense. If you're not a big fan of offline, then just go play online, which is pretty much richer than offline mode.I have the PSP version of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on my PS Vita but while initially the game seemed interesting, I quickly got bored even just doing the tutorials.

Hello! My name is Kao and I am a Kangaroo! If you can see my kicking picture there, you can see me riding one of mine friends! I am quite popular in the area because I saved alot of animals turning in to women accsesories. It was quite painfull on the way, but I liked the experience! I plan on buying a plane with all my money I got and going on an adventure on the isles. My first adventure was when that Mcguffin Hunter cought me, but I escaped, and I don't want to let any animal in pain! What's your story, mate?

Yes, the game is getting localized. Coming this March on Wii U and 3DS.Getting it most defintely, getting my Wii U this Summer.
Importing the Japanese version if I have to or is it coming in English?
If I remember correctly Monster Hunter Tri had a "Turn off blood" in the Options, but since I never used it I don't know if it turns it off completely or just tones it down. You can also lessen how much blood is shown by using elemental weapons. If my parents allow me to play it then yes! I hope its an overworld based game, so I can get insparation to make my own game (not the same game)! Is it 16+, because if it is, there is 20% chance of me getting it!

I played the one for PS2 only and it was kinda cool. If I ever get me a Wii U, it will be an instant buy.

No, they already stated Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will not have Off-TV Play.I am not sure what version to get; 3DS or WiiU? Do you think the WiiUversion will support Gamepad-Only? If so, then the dual stick would give favor for the WiiU version...and I only play while on couch so as long as I don't need the TV the WiiU version looks good to me....but will it support gamepad only?

That's a damn shame..My wife won't forgive me if I buy a potential 100+ hour TV game. The 3DS version it is then Kinda hoped the Gamepad would work if only for Dual Stick

Go with the WiiU version and turn your TV off and play when she goes to sleep lol
