Welcome to the new OWUG&TT. Each game is categorized by which genre it belongs to. Each Genre folder had 3 Tiers: CONFIRMED, which is self exploratory; UNCONFIRMED, which is the game is rumored to be in the works and has been hinted at, but no actual confirmation; and SPECULATION, which is where the game is thought of. Any games that don't have a topic are fair game to be made into one, so go and do so if you like. Any questions can either be adressed to me via PM or just reply down below.

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Sorry about that. By the way you didn't provide a link. Now no one can click on it, then automatically be directed to The Legend of Paper Zelda Thread.

Why exactly do we need this thread? Just asking. There's a feature called "Search on Google"

There's quite a few people who forget the existence of that feature, that's why some topics are merged.

Some people are lazy...

Also, Lord N, can you maybe sort the links in alphabetical order? It will make it easier to find a topic :)

We have a search feature that is easier and faster to use than creating a new topic.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present the search bar.

Although, you have to admit, Feld0, a lot of forums have people too incompetent to realise this.

However, I do know of a forum who had to take theirs down due to overuse and crashing... or something like that.

I still think having a topic redirect thread for the sake of having a topic redirect thread is okay.

Still, many times People forget to use it. Plus, this also acts as more of a general convience if they don't want to use the search bar but still want to check if a duplicate topic exists.

Already done probabbly by the time you'll finish reading this post

Thanks for doing the list in alphabetical order, Lord N!

@SPW: Lord N is right, once the forum has a new wave of members will see tons of duplicate threads. Just look at the 3dsforums.com as an example...

I did a huge mega-update on Lord N's post. I think we should revive this thread, if only because the search function seems to be completely ignored by many members, especially new ones.

Shame, 'cause I went to the trouble of setting up a program called Sphinx to handle search, which is super-efficient and better at it than IP.Board itself.

Just pulling a random statistic out of my head, I reckon that of the thousands of people who go to a forum, only 5% of the population have used the search function once (not necessarily a frequent user of it).

Of that 5%, only 0.60% are regular members.

That's my guess. It's a great tool for moderators and admins, but it's one of those things that normal members wouldn't even give a second chance, if a first.
