I appreciate the offer, LordFireGX, but from what I've seen from your posts welcoming members so far, it's not quite Guide material. They've all been very short and choppy.Feld0 I guess I could become a guide I have been greeting members all the time plus Im pretty loyal to this site and there rules so can you sign me up please if you do thank you very much .
I've seen your posts in the intro section, and they really are quite good. You might as well get official recognition as a welcomer. Welcome to the club!I've sort of, reconsidered my stance a little. I'd love to be a guide!
I greet people anyway and I find it awesome when they reply, finding out a little bit more about them before they even start posting, it's pretty cool just to interact with new members in a non-formal way, and that's why I'd like to be a guide!
(I'd obviously do the requirements of reminding them of the rules etc..)

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

Okay!Brian6330 is officially in charge of the Guides now. He'll decide whether you get to be a Guide or not.
So, I've took my time and gone over a few recent introduction threads...
Caius, you definetely get the position as you're posts are nice in grammar, good content, and nicely formulated. Just be sure to write around 5 or more sentences for each "welcome" message, so that you're posts aren't too short.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Lucaren, I'm not exactly sure about you. Yes, you welcome new members, but you're posts usually consist of 1 sentence usually containing "Welcome to the forums + something else*. Before I'd give Feld0 the green light to promote you, I'd like to see some bigger and longer posts that are more special/unique. Try to say something else besides only welcoming them... So, in short: make you're posts better and longer in new threads and then come ask again I'm just looking for that little extra effort.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________
PK-Gaming, you did start to format your posts nicer and increase their length. I think you deserve the promotion, but under ONE condition; don't forget to post in any welcome thread... (that goes for all Guides). If you think you won't be able to welcome a member after around 3-5 days after they've made their thread, then tell us. It's a Guide's duty to welcome all members. So, just be sure to not forget that
So in all: PK-Gaming and Caius get the promotion, just don't forget to have long enough posts (Caius) and to not miss any introduction threads (PK-Gaming)
Lucaren, you need to lengthen your posts and make 'em more unique. Don't forget, after you think you've change you're posts, you can come to try and apply again
I've sent a PM to Feld0, telling him who to promote.

Oh, and these people didn't get any approval at all, so I'm wondering what's going on. I'm not sure if Futendo Zii's around anymore, though
Hello !
Funtendo Zii here, would like to be a Guide, because had a bad experience from the 3DS Forums, I made a long Introduction of me, talking about my Nintendo systems and games,... but sadly, that post got DELETED that´s one reason I didn´t made a long introduction of myself on this Wii U forum.
I would like to make other newcomer Goombas feel Welcome to this community. There are also two down-sides on my apply, 1) I´m not so good and not so bad on English 2) School starts soon and I may not make it everyday to this forum.
Still would like to help on this job, Welcoming (I don´t know is this a word) others and also inviting friends and co-nintendolovers to these forums.
Funtendo Zii
Being a guide could be fun, I'll apply.
First, let me butter you up. This is a fantastic idea and will really help set a good atmosphere of the forum.
Honestly, I haven't been introducing users to the forums. (I've really only been visiting to chat to some users). But I would really like to see this forum flourish and grow. As a Guide I would promise to greet and welcome most, if not all users who are new to the forums.
I wield the element of kindness.
Here is a picture of Twilight:
Sent you a PM.

It's not like I'm against the recruitment, but the motivation for some people may just be the status change and ability to change their title.

Wow, I never knew that they changed the rules of applying a bit. I think I'll adjust my recruiting, then (see my profile)

If you really care; Funtendo Zii just left a good while ago, and Kurt said it was too much for him and asked to be demoted around a week ago.
Also; don't go recruiting people. If they want to be a Guide, they'll ask in Due time

Just to put this out there; there are 15 guides. Do you really need to recruit more people?
It's not like I'm against the recruitment, but the motivation for some people may just be the status change and ability to change their title.
That's exactly the reason I haven't voluntered, I don't want new members to think that I'm just introducing myself for the title.

I'm still around and read the Wii U News, I just don't have any spare time to post here
