I'm glad it's getting positive reception, nice to hear the game has drastically changed from the original. I'm disappointed though that there's no portrait ghosts.

2013 = Yeah of the 3DS - Can't wait. The original may of been short and simple, but it still is one of my favorite Gamecube games...maybe I'm just biased since it was the first game I got with the GC alone with Rogue Squadron....either way. I really can't wait for this!

I think the fact that its the only game that Luigi is the main character. There are alot of Luigi fans I take it. This is the reason my son likes it so thats my guess.

If I wanted Ghostbusters I'd buy Ghostbusters and I'd take Bill Murray over Luigi any day.It's ghostbusters with Luigi, as I understand it.

I haven't played Luigi's Mansion before but the gameplay just doesn't look very compelling. What's great about the game itself apart from it being the game Luigi is the protagonist in?
Kinda wondering the same thing. Never played it but it looks like you just run around looking for ghost. They you suck them up or something.
But if there is a demo I will check it out. Other then tha ill stick with my sticker Mario lol

I played both the ghost busters video game and Luigi's Mansion. I think Luigi's mansion is more of a puzzle adventure game, the more correct word would be clue adventure game. Unlike Zelda esq puzzles, where you push blocks an pull triggers, I think Luigi's Mansions puzzles are more hidden. Like you have to suck up all the ghosts serving food to get to a boss. Its not a action adventure like ghost busters. Styles different too, but thats obvious. I don't know... its a different nintendo game that so far is pretty unique. I can't think of any other points...except maybe nastalgia, but that the common denominator of so many nintendo games.
Theres a bit of backtracking in the old game, but nothing too intense like metroid (I only played 3rd). Hm.... what else... Heck I don't remember I just liked the original game.

So I heard it has online multiplayer.. I read it on Nintendoeverything.com. The article was updated later, but unlike other sites they don't mention that it was deemed 'false' afterwards.. so maybe this is from another source idk. I want to hunt ghosts with other people lol.
