You heard me right! You can only make a post in a miiverse community once every 5 minutes. I plan on boycotting miiverse now! Way to go Nintendo you just screwed up!

.......um honestly, i dont see this being a big deal, its not facebook or something stupid of the sorts xD honestly, i see miiverse as an app to post updates about what you are doing in the game like you just did something amazing, and im pretty sure there will be atleast a 5min wait between amazing/exiting things

I approve of this. Five minutes isn't long at all. Spam is a problem on miiverse, this is stopping it. Stop thinking that you're gonna modify miiverse.

i actually like it the only thing that i thought about for more than a few seconds was the open friend requests (which now i think its a good thing. it will stop it from being like fb and people friend wh*ring) and the post every 5 mins. that doesnt bother me and i think it will help with spamming. i dont have a wii u yet but i still think its a good thing.

This is clearly to stop the moderator bill from ballooning out of control, not to control spam, which isn't really an issue since we have friend lists and followers.

Spam wasnt a huge issue. There will probably be more spam now and the reason why is if you cant post twice in one community you will hop to another wich will bring offtopic jabber to a new level. Nintendo just doesn't think about these things.

Hey, guess what, five minutes is not a lot of time to wait at all. Spam can be an issue with message boards, especially ones with the potential to be as huge as Miiverse. The decision made is a smart one, and I stand behind it.

God forbid people should have to wait for things ever again.

Perhaps 5 minutes it too long. 2-3 sounds better. And I'm for this, it's no big deal. Help reduce clutter. Miiverse isn't twitter, no need to update every 2 seconds.

Though Mii Verse should loosing up on their posting 'bad stuff' rules. I understand that some stuff people complain about, yeah should be took away. But yeah.

Basically in Miiverse, a person puts up a status in a community (which are game title oriented), and people can comment on them. It's essentially like a facebook feed, except each status update is game oriented.

So Nintendo has implemented a 5 minute cooldown on status updates (not comments though). I've seen it a few times where the same user will spam updates, or try to cover what they say in multiple status' instead of adding more in comments (because it's limited and English is longer than Japanese).

Whatever, its not like i use Miiverse all the time anyways so its not a big deal for me as it is for people who are on Miiverse the whole time they're on their Wii U. Anyways this looks good for stopping spam.
