When asked, a Tester for Sega said

“Oh wow. Yes okay. I was hoping someone would ask this. I have played the WiiU version. The one that is supposedly the best of all of them? It is not. It is the worst. It is a bit of a joke. The WiiU is basically the same game as the console version but with framerate issues, worse texture loading, and horrendously misguided minigames thrown in. You get a ‘scanner’ to scan enemies and get bonus points that aid your harming them. When you cut open doors (which happens a lot in the game) you have a game where you have to keep the heat ‘optimal’. They just add frustration, and take away even more from the fun. We don’t know if it will come out, Sega are conisdering canceling it, but right now its still going.”

Apparently, it's worse than it already is on the technical side, and the additions are a bit cheesy!

But it gets worse...

The tester also claimed

that the money Sega paid to Gearbox working on Aliens: Colonial Marines was used for Borderlands 2 instead.

It better be a Wii U version that that money went towards!

Who knew Gearbox could be so sneaky...

reminds me squer enix i think? i cant remember exactly... Microsoft paid lots of millions for a game to be an exclusive for 360... and the company used that money and made a port for ps3... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

to be honest, If i was in his placement and noticed all these things and watched all these forums with people and kids waiting for it and hoping!!! I was about to do the same thing, maybe even worse than that...

Gearbox and Sega lost lots of credits, especially gearbox.

Its not about trustworthy employees... They need crooks to work with them. Even if they fire this boy, is because they are crooks and they dont want the good stuff...

That said, I can see how a game that far into feveloent had hiccups on wii u since it started life on early dev kits and would have had the same developmental struggles some studios did with early/ no real
Help from Nintendo. To know how to use the custom hardware.

But the minigames, etc. sound like personal bias.
In other words, the guy off the street (aka: super game tester/industry insider extraordinaire...) is just spewing some hate mixed in with some truth.

word of mouth maybe? some arguments? I dont think sega would be happy with the result... And all this money lost. Also this tester is very credited, because he tested ps4 edition of the games????? He is not a mobile game tester.. lol

If true, yes it is illegal and there wouldn't be a gearbox left after that.

But it's highly dubious.

Doubtful that some guy who played their game knows what happens at the administrative level of the company.

Actually, this may be for the best. The game still has a great premise.

Only now gearbox can do what criterion did Nd spend a couple of months making the technical specs great with new dev tools.

Whether the game is fun or not depends in if they are able to quickly address current criticism.

I'll reserve judgement until the U version is available and weigh it on its own merit.
