tor’s comments in full regarding the visuals of Project CARS on Wii U:
I literally just had a blast racing around one of our tracks in the rain (the most graphically-intensive weather setting) and it held up pretty damn well. Of course there are optimisations still to be done but side-by-side, the Wii U version we have running in the studio is extremely promising.
When asked why Slightly Mad has decided to bring the game to Wii U whereas other third-party developers have lessened their support, Tutor replied:
We don’t comment on other people’s decisions There are no realistic, authentic racing games on the Wii U currently, yet the way you interact with games on the Wii U has lots of possibilities when considering touch and gyroscope motion so both things combined made our decision easy.
And on the topic of seeing footage/screenshots from the Wii U version of Project CARS before the title’s launch:
Every screenshot or video you’ve seen from Project CARS so far has been taken by an actual player – any one of our WMD community members. So there should be trust already that what you see on websites or on YouTube is actually what you’re going to see in the game. There are no plans to abuse that trust when it comes to the Wii U version

If it's boring, I am sorry to hear it took him 4,200 minutes to figure that out.

Think the game is fun and fantastic. I see the vision that nintendo was trying to accomplish both in gameplay but structure of the game as well, i.e. no voice chat, stage rotation, level perks etc, and i think they nailed it.
After playing ranked matches today it most certainly without a doubt is best that there's no chat. Never have i been so mad at my teamates, and I've never been one to be that way online, but the splat zones get so intense, especially when you have a big lead and then suddenly you lose the game!!! UGHHH, but my anger is around a 5/10, and i would be turned off if i had to hear the typical online banter that plauges other games.
Thank you nintendo.

I can't wait for this game it is gorgeous but what is going to erk me is that some people will down grade this game because it runs at 720p not 1080p and look past the seer beauty and scale of this game. To run at 720p is still impressive to me because I haven't to see anything yet on the other 8th gen and even last gen consoles that had XBC X's atmospheric scale. My hat goes off for the devs at Monolith they have truly outdone themselves. Now if only we could get that bundle over here in the west.

'd like to speak about development status of DT in words of my own to the extent that I am allowed.
1. DT owns the game mechanism sophisticatedly merged action games and shooter games together.
2. DT development is going smoothly. In another words we finishes editing ending movie the other day.
3. DT will be released next year. Nintendo has already announced in their press release.
4. Scale of DT is more than Ninja Gaiden in solo play – story mode.
5. DT demolishes the standard of past console games in on-line multi-play.
6. Almost all specifications I wanted to do were implemented. I got an up-close look at good manners of the great forerunner, COD, BF, GOW, and my loving HALO. On that basis, we added totally brandnew playabilities that only we can create.
7. Anyone can enjoy this game; from casual gamers to hard-core gamers. Let me put it this way. You guys can throw a fun party, or can kill each other in realistic war. You can play your heart out
This is all I can disclose to you today, be patient just a little longer. Don't miss it

U Craft, a clone of the popular Minecraft had its first screens released recently by Hullbreach. Strangely, the game is not by Hullbreach, but by an anonymous developer. The releases of information on the title are being handled by other developers (because Wii logic right?).

I'll update this topic as news comes in I guess.

I want this.
I assume the new c-stick acts like a Thinkpad's trackpoint? It doesn't seem to have room to slide around, so it must be pressure sensitive.
I hope the new 3DS XL will still be backwards compatible with the old XL's charging dock.
I read somewhere the connection for charging was moved.... can't confirm though. I agree, c-stick seems like it will function like the thinkpad pointer.
below is a gif show much improved speed for browsing and downloading in eshop
