  • Shigeru Miyamoto stepping down as EAD General Manager
  • Takashi Tezuka becoming new EAD General Manager
  • New Groups / New Producers announced for EAD Kyoto / SPD Kyoto
  • EAD Tokyo Expansion / Masahiro Sakurai possibly Joining EAD Tokyo
  • New Division lead by Miyamoto with younger staff focused on smaller scale games
  • Miyamoto’s Departure Inspiring New IPs for the EAD Kyoto Division
Sounds quite likely to me. That's right after NSMBU wraps up, so Tezuka could switch positions easily. This would help Miyamoto work on smaller projects, and new IPs. And I've been wanting Tokyo to expand for a long time. I'm not sure the Sakurai thing sounds likely, though it is possible.

Reggie on Monolith's next title

Xenoblade is one of my favorite games ever, and it's honestly my most anticipated game for the Wii U (even more then Zelda!) So any news as to what Monolith's Wii U project is going to involve makes me very excited. Reggie had something to say about it possibly being localized.

“We know that they’re working on a game. I personally haven’t seen it, but I know there’s a lot of excitement in Japan and Kyoto about what they’re working on, so I look forward to seeing it. In the end, if it’s a game that we decide to publish from… what would be a second-party standpoint, certainly we’d love to bring it here to the US. The way we look at the opportunity is, given a level of marketing support, how much are we gonna sell and is it gonna be a profitable venture?”

So, do you guys think it'll be localized?
