Unfortunate. Although I think that the Lucasarts I once knew and loved had died already.

The first game I beat was Contra, albeit with the Konami Code. It was still a pretty good achievement for a 6 year old. 

World at War in general was very bad. I tried it on the PS3 and owned it for a short time for PC. It is buggy, has sub-par graphics, and clunky control. An even stronger negative is the fact that the PS2 version has no Zombies mode, the only redeeming quality of the game.  If you're looking for a good shooter for PS2, try one of the Timesplitters games. If it has to be Call of Duty, COD 3 for PS2 is much better.

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed that the blocking of used games on the PS4 was not true. I can't give you a source, but still, even Sony knows that would be a bad idea, and they've made pretty stupid decisions in the past. 

I will be officially pissed if there is no Metroid or Star Fox announcement. Even if it's just a tease, I need something. Preferably from Retro Studios.

There is, of course the 3DS version of DKC Returns, but that doesn't really qualify as "new." I'm pretty excited about that one anyway, because... DKCR Portable!
