Nintendo wishes you a happy holidays!
Sorry if I dozed off I literally woke up like 10 minutes ago, I did not want any part of this since Nintendo disappointed me after the Cranky reveal, and someone pointed out that Nintendo fans can't have any expectations and that is pretty true. I woke up all of a sudden and decided to watch it, that Direct was way better than all the other Directs combined., I mean Hyrule Warriors? Sonic getting a Yoshi's Island stage? Rosalina looking way more beautiful in Smash? That was awesome, but the best is still the January though, that blew my mind. I really really hope next month we get something better than this year's direct. See you next time and Happy Holidays.

Tales of Zestiria announced for worldwide release on PS3
14 December 2013 - 12:04 AM
http://www.polygon.c...0th-anniversary
Tales of Zestiria is the next entry in Namco Bandai's Tales series of Japanese role-playing games, and it is in development on PlayStation 3 for a global release, the publisher announced today.
It is the first time Namco Bandai has simultaneously announced release plans in Japan and the West for a Tales game.
"Over the past few years the Tales Of team has taken great strides to strengthen our relationship with players across North America and Europe," said Hideo Baba, producer of the Tales series, in a press release today. "To respond to their love and support I am honored to open a new chapter of the Tales Of series together with Japanese and overseas fans."
Tales of Zestiria's developers are taking the franchise back to its fantasy roots, according to the press release. It will feature characters created by all four of the series' usual designers — Mutsumi Inomata, Kosuke Fujishima, Daigo Okumura and Minoru Iwamoto — as well as cutscenes and an opening movie from the animation studio Ufotable.
Namco Bandai did not give any release window for Tales of Zestiria, and it's unclear if it will launch worldwide simultaneously. But the company described it as a "commemorative title" for the Tales series' 20th anniversary in Japan, which will take place in 2015. You can see the first screenshot from the game above.
Now I can cancel Final Hallway XIII: Toriyama's Waifu Returns off my pre oder list.

(Since there's only a few Wii U games under 10 that are really good I decided to do 5 very best Wii U games, to be fair for the Wii U)
5. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
4. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
3. Super Mario 3D World
2. The Wondeful 101
1. Art Academy Sketchpad
Yup, my number 1 Wii U game isn't even a game. But it keeps me coming back for more so its my favorite game....or app, to come back to the Wii U.
# 20 DMC Devil May Cry
#19 Saints Row 4
#18 Project X Zone
#17 Sonic Lost World
#16 Animal Crossing: New Leaf
#15 Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
#14 Pikmin 3
#13 Rayman Legends
#12 Shin Megami Tensei 4
#11 Bioshock Infinite
#10 Wind Waker HD
#9 Super Mario 3D World
#8 Pokemon X & Y
#7 The Last of Us
#6 The Wonderful 101
#5 Tales of Xillia
#4 Metal Gear Rising: Revengence
#3 The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
#2 Phoenix Wright Ace Attourney: Dual Destinies
#1 Fire Emblem Awakening
Fire Emblem Awakening is without a dough the best game of 2013 for me, Ive spent countless hours playing this game and I never got tired of it, I mean sure some may have Super Mario 3D World or Link Between Worlds as their number 1, but for me Awakening made my year for 10 straight months, I'm already at Lunatic + in chapter 7 and it is impossible to beat but I keep on continuing. I bought all the DLC and never regretted it, this game alone made me a fan of Fire Emblem, I bought Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon a couple of weeks ago and I love it.
I hope they take Fire Emblem even further. Like Fire Emblem X Tales series, Marth playable in Soul Calibur 6, stuff like that. This game is the greatest game Ive ever played and I recommend anyone who never bought a 3DS.
The Wii U's problem is the Wii's existance.
06 December 2013 - 08:20 AM
There's been a lot of bad Wii U news especially this week, PS4 and Xbox One are catching up to the Wii U's head start, but then I started to notice the problem here. The Wii sold more than the Wii U this year. Since the release of the console, I remember last year on IGN's Daily Fix when the Wii U was about to release and Naomi saying "Wii U's are sold out but Nintendo says the Wii is still available this holiday season." Now this year with the Wii mini and people picking it up at Best Buy, I saw the problem.
Here's why, first, why sell the Wii if Nintendo or any other company is done with the system and no more games are coming out besides heavily gimped games. Second, why sell the Wii if the Wii U literally has everything on the Wii inside the Wii U, that is scamming a lot of people who bought a Wii this year and Ive seen it slowly growing. I go to this site called VGChartz and it keeps track of games and system sales, I can't remember the accurate number but in January of this year the Wii sold 96 Million Globally when the Wii U was sold out, till this day it sold 100.6 million units. That's 4.5 Million Wii owners that should have had a Wii U instead. I don't know if I'm accurate but those sales numbers should have been for Wii U. Month after month I hear that the 3DS and the Wii are making profit, THE WII IS MAKING PROFIT? This is why I keep saying that the Wii U commercials suck because they never mention that the Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii games. Who at Nintendo never once thought of mentioning backwards compatibility to the casuals watching TV? Till this day working at Gamestop people ask me if the PS4 is backwards compatible with Ps3 and they get boned.
Nintendo really screwed up the Wii U, and I don't think they will redeem themselves. They really need to discontinue the Wii and leave it to Amazon.com where casuals won't be fooled by finding a "new" and incredibly cheap console for their children in their local stores, yes there are casual gamers who get into videogames every month but the Wii mini is selling in my area and its not collectors buying it. I feel sorry for the daughter who is going to get a gimped Wii instead of a Wii U this Christmas. They imminently discontinued the DS when the 3DS came out and it can play DS games, they should have done the same with the Wii. The Wii U is a great console, it shouldn't be out shined by the Wii that has no more planned games.
Danny Wells (Luigi) and Chris Evan Welch (Tails) passed away this week.

Welch, left, and Wells, right
Christopher Evan Welch and Danny Wells, two television actors who made significant marks on the video game world, have both passed away. The losses are a blow to fans of kitschy gaming tie-ins. Welch was the original voice actor for Miles "Tails" Prower in the "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" animated TV series. Wells portrayed Luigi on "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show," another Saturday morning staple.
Welch, 48, died in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer. His role as Tails was his first professional credit, though he later went on to guest star on shows such as "The Sopranos," "The Good Wife", "Rubicon," and "Law & Order: SVU." Additionally, he appeared in films including Steven Spielberg's “War of the Worlds” and “Lincoln.”
The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, which first aired in September 1993, starred Sonic (voiced by Jaleel "Urkel" White) and Tails in a neverending quest to thwart the evil Dr. Robotnik. It lasted three seasons before it was cancelled. Welch appeared in all 65 episodes of the show.
Wells was 72 when he died in Toronto. Alongside "Captain Lou" Albano (who played Mario), he handled the live-action segments of the syndicated "Super Mario Bros. Super Show," which ran off and on from 1989 through 1994. The show featured regular celebrity guest stars, including the likes of Vanna White, Cyndi Lauper, and Magic Johnson. Wells also voiced Luigi in the cartoon segments of the program.
Wells had an active acting career when he wasn't behind Luigi's 'stache. Fans of "The Jeffersons" might remember him for his recurring role as Charlie the bartender. He also did voice work in the games Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Wizardry 8 and Descent 3.
So sad, and on the Year of Luigi Danny died, he's up there with Captain Lou Albano. R.I.P. Old friends.
