I hope so. There's no reason not to at least include DVD support. I have lots of DVD movies to watch, having to use my PS3 just so I can watch it is not cool.

they cut it €400 but games are launch games price at €80 brand new
plus no backwards capability for previous games disks
they are no convincing me to buy one

Removing the gamepad from the console will do nothing for it, but create a lot of headache and extra work for the marketing, development, and financial departments of Nintendo.

I can add more later.
The only advantage the Wii U has us the game pad, but that is turning out to be a gimmick.

Nintendo made a BIG mistake not making Wii HD... not so much HD but it should of had more power and up to date architecture so it could get ps360 ports. They have to understand the world moves faster than they think...especially the western world. i know they are a japanese company but they have to think about western gamers and what "WE" want. i can only hope nintendo starts learning from their mistakes.

Lets cut the crap, lets stop tip toeing around this issue, its the million dollar question for any nintendo or just tech/gadget fan,
"At E3 next year, what if, Nintendo announce a new wiiu+ console, a new upgraded machine that competes with the more powerful new breed of consoles, that no developer can criticize.

Nintendo need to open up more, they are making their consoles more of a closed system than Apple products.
I don't think the big names will ever be back on board with a Nintendo system.

Yes, let's build a new console because this one hasn't sold very well within 6 months with 2 games we put out there. That makes perfect business sense.
