I think they should at least show a trailer or something, but not just an artwork, that drove me insane waiting for that game and not in a good way.

I do want the best game they can put forward but i think it would be a bad move to not show something at E3 even if the game doesn't release till 2015.

Im all up for a huge open world as long as i can fly during some point during the game, As much as i liked twilight princess i felt it was let down with it's huge maps being way to bland which made exploring feel more like a chore. Hopefully the next world map doesn't segregate everything into villages and cities in one area, it would be nice to see the odd house in the middle of it to spruce it up.

Is this restricted to specific regions?

I haven't seen a copy in Australia for a long time.

Seems they changed so you can use it without internet acces, And use old games on it.

Still they should have said this at E3, like most people i have already decided with my wallet.

I don't care how powerful the console is, as long as i get good games then im satisfied.

I don't care about dvr and football in my gaming console. It's supposed to play games, but i guess not.

 

Some of the kids at my school are immediately buying it because of the specs... the goddamn console has noooooo games, and windows 8 in it. It's a watered down pc with a kinect built in... wtf.

The X trailer is just an early build so i wouldn't worry about we we have seen to far till they give us some more info, hopefully we shall know more during E3.

Going a little off topic but i still don't see how 8GB of RAM is really going to make a major difference in the PS4 tech even though the tech demos were running on 3-4GB. People seem to be inclined to believe that more RAM means better Graphics, more RAM might help increase performance, frame rate, objects on screen and animation but it shouldn't make to much of a difference on screen. Im no tech expert and I can see the extra RAM helping improve the overall graphics, but i doubt it will be as much as people will think it will be.

If im wrong please correct me on this.

Skype is owned by Microsoft, but it could happen.

The PS Vita has Skype so I think it is a possibility! 

Also, Nintendo should add a first party Video and Picture viewing apps!

I personally never got into into the game, it's presentation and sound were really well done but honestly I just never got into it. There have only been a few games that haven't appealed to me (including Braid), and i love puzzle games but I really don't care much for this title. A sequel would be nice i guess but I'm doubting it will ever happen.

There are a lot of companies that are getting some pretty negative reception, skipping all the ones already mentioned i would have to say Polytron. While their game may not lack in quality, their attitude is just a pure slap in the face to the gaming community. Sure paying $10,000 for a patch is quite steep, but Phill Fish refused to work on it for some time even after Microsoft removed the cost. Phil is more concerned about himself than the gaming community, not fixing your games bugs for the sake of protest won't get you any respect.

IMO it would have been nice to see a slightly higher poly count in some of the heroes, however I can't really argue, Platinum has done a spectacular job with every one of those characters. I can't imagine how much work it would be trying to make every single one of those characters, they are all so unique.

The WiiU is by no means underpowered, sure GPU may be a little slow but it's perfectly capable of running most next gen games.

I would definitely recommend getting the Wonderful 101, there has been plenty of negativity against it but it is by no means a bad game. All though I personally wouldn't recommend getting AC3 unless you a diehard fan of the series, apart from the sailing sections I found the game to be feel pretty bland, also the WiiU port is pretty poorly optimised with pretty lengthy load times, a s**t ton of analysing and poor texture/model swapping. Some people might see it differently but my experience wasn't really that pleasant.

They can't upgrade the console now it's been released, they can change the cover, the gamepad design, the colours and upgrade the HDD if they want to, but they can't increase the power. What you see now is what you get, thats not to say the WiiU will be underpowered and won't be able to compete in terms of graphics, that would be a false accusation.

Going on with discs, does anyone have any idea on what it will cost to manufacture these 50gb PS4 discs? surely they will be a little strain on price.

Yeah, I don't know if they will. But there biggest problem is with there dvd. 25GB is small compared to 50GB, and that is what Sony pushing developers to do. But we'll see.

I don't think this will be too much of an issue, it will be a while before developers use all that space. Im not sure if the WiiU could have an expanded disc size like the 3DS cards did (Resident Evil:Revelations used an 8GB card while most games used only 2GB).

Theres no arguing that we already have some stunning games already available on the WiiU, sadly people think that graphics plays more importance than gameplay (ahem...Crytek....cough...cough). I might be getting a PS4 in the future just so i don't miss out on some of those third party titles due to lazy devs that didn't even bother trying to put their game on the WiiU. Ubisoft is moving further away everyday so we should just prepare for whats to come. Im not going to make a decision till a few years into the next generation of consoles, it's too early to decide what console will be on top.

I wouldn't say this was a lazy port but Capcom could really have stepped it up a bit.

Hmmmm, sorry I don't think so, there doesn't seem to be a HDMI slot, or I just can't really tell the difference.

The one on the left most side is the HDMI port, at least i think it is.

Nintendo will need more than just SEGA in order to change peoples minds about the WiiU.

As much as i hate to say it, EA does bring in a lot of revenue (maybe not for the best but it will sell).

In my opinion they need:

*Square Enix

*Level 5
