#126220 Confirmed Wii U GamePad Lasts 3-5 Hours, Fully Charges In 2.5 Hours

Posted by Spleenzorio on 08 November 2012 - 04:47 PM

You guys can't HONESTLY say you're happy with that battery life, it's terrible, it's understandable due to the massive damn screen on the thing, but regardless it's a terrible battery life, not everyone can charge while they play, and not everyone wants to use a controller without the screen on it considering that's pretty much the reason to buy this console in the first place.

It's about the same as a Laptop..................

CANCELLING PRE-ORDER!

#125221 Wii U gets an update day 1

Posted by Spleenzorio on 06 November 2012 - 08:15 PM

It just shows that Nintendo is looking out for us before we even get the consoles home. Some people have issues with things the day they get them, and nothing is done until everyone and their mom complains about it. I'd rather have a patch day one than have some kinda dumb issue that prevents things from working properly for a while.

#124627 Wii U Cross Game Chat?

Posted by Spleenzorio on 05 November 2012 - 08:56 AM

Why complicate things? Not everyone has a computer to use Skype. Derp.

If they are reading these forums, chances are they have a device that Skype can run on.

#124177 Gamesmaster mag wiiU launch special. pretty positive.

Posted by Spleenzorio on 04 November 2012 - 06:32 AM

By the time the other two release their next consoles, Wii U will already have solid ground and if it really does sell like the Wii did, third party developers would be dumb not to bring games to it because it's already established. People just need to look beyond the power of a machine and look at its innovations and what new things it can do. Sony and Microsoft are gunna be rinse and repeat, make better graphics and redesign the controller ever so slightly while Nintendo really does define the term next generation.

#123679 So, I E-Mailed Rockstar Support On GTA V For Wii U

Posted by Spleenzorio on 02 November 2012 - 06:55 AM

Rockstar have been disappointed in the past by GTA sales on Nintendo platforms such as the DS so it's only natural that they'll be a little skeptical of releasing it for a new Nintendo platform without others proving that the Wii U has a suitable market appeal.

Probably because that wasn't a real GTA game that people wanted.......

I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering, but how much fun is that gramma having in the Sing Party trailer?

#123668 Wii U Web Browser Scores High In HTML5 Test

Posted by Spleenzorio on 02 November 2012 - 06:28 AM

they don't post negative scores ;) trollololol.
Jk, but I have had and loved a PS3 for 4 years now and I have never been able to use the browser because it is EXTREMELY slow. I haven't used XBoxes yet though...

Haha true. Only thing I use the browser for is watching YouTube videos on my tv when I'm too lazy to hook up my laptop to it.

#123416 US Wii U commercial

Posted by Spleenzorio on 01 November 2012 - 10:25 AM

No need to be disappointed in something that wasn't made specifically for you. The hardcore players already know what the Wii U is all about, why do they need to show them stuff they already know? This commercial is for those people who don't live on the Internet and watch reviews or read websites every day.

#122365 Wii U Overview from Nintendo Magazine

Awesome! Even though I've seen tons of videos of the Wii U, I always enjoy seeing new ones leading up to the launch.

#114902 The age old question: Is a switch-a-roo possible? :o

Posted by Spleenzorio on 04 October 2012 - 07:43 AM

A few different scenarios could take place for you:

1) Keep checking every few days if they have any pre-orders open for the Deluxe Bundle, because chances are people might cancel theirs or better yet the store is given more stock.

-or-

2) In almost every store that accepts pre-orders, they let you cancel even if it's the day of launch. Simply cancel your Basic Bundle when you go up to pay for the Deluxe that you were so lucky to find.

-if not-

3) If option 2 doesn't work, as in they won't let you cancel it that late (which I seriously doubt) simply buy the Basic Bundle and return it right after. Get your money back and then pay for the Deluxe that you calmly yet ferociously kept in your grasp the entire time.

Of course the last two options only work if you are lucky to find a Deluxe on the shelf that day. In my experience at Best Buy midnight or early morning launch events, they will have all the pre-order units near the front of the store so everyone waiting in line can enter the store and simply walk up to the register to pay without having to walk around. Sometimes an hour or so before the store opens, one of the managers might come out and bring glad tidings saying there are extra Deluxe or Basic units in case anyone waiting in line wasn't lucky enough to secure a pre-order. So the closer you are to the front of the line the better. If all else fails, it might help if you bring a buddy or someone that can help you find one on the shelf in a swift yet orderly fashion.

#114739 Do you believe in the (Wii U Daily) Zelda rumor?

Posted by Spleenzorio on 03 October 2012 - 03:34 PM

Why is it always called Zelda? It should be called a story of link. lol.
