Nintendo needs to go back to the days when they made commercials like this:

The Wii u needs a hype, something hardware/os can do that will blow everyone away. It could also be a new ip but one that will bring jawdropping gameplay and graphics. Or something like crossplay on 3ds or all 3ds games also play on wii u or use 3ds as a second gamepad , bringing more interconnection between the N systems. Nintendo had a year to hype and marketing it and they did diddely sht. They have to make a stand!

Why do people keep saying Next gen graphics like you need graphics to be a next gen console... Next gen simply means a console that comes out around the same time the rest do, after the last generation of consoles. If a company releases a console now with ps2 hardware, It's still a next gen console, not a gen 6 console...

 

So Yes Pikmin 3 is a next gen game because it came out on a next gen console. Same as Mario galaxy is a gen 7 game...

Honestly, he always seems a bit.. Off.

Maybe he makes a good company man, but he doesn't belong on stage, video, or any sort of public speaking or appearances.

Alright so I just read an article that stated Nintendo is thinking of implementing a reward system not unlike the Achievement system on Xbox or the trophy system on PS3 and was wondering if anyone else heard this rumour? The article stated that they will reveal this at E3 in a few weeks.

 

Also IF Nintendo actually does this would you hunt for them?

 

I would intensely hunt for them hoping to stay in the top 100 worldwide

We al saw how Xbox followed Nintendo's Mii direction with their Avatars. Sony followed up with Playstation Home.

I always thought that Rare (responseble for Avatars) would come up with an universe where all Xbox Avatars could live, meet and play.

Hmmmm that sounds a little bit like Animal Crossing too. What if Nintendo would build a universe directly into the OS of the WiiU and 3ds. Where players can customize their mii homes, meet and play with other friends. Throw in some Nintendo world minigames and we're good to go. At least so do I think.

What are your thoughts?
