#226821 Nintendo says they're not making too many Mario games, new mechanics make...

I love Mario, but Nintendo is delusional if they think they're not making too many Mario games. Sorry.

#226817 You can’t post screenshots of Square Enix VC games on Miiverse

You can't post screenshots of Sqaure-Enix games on Miiverse because Wii U doesn't support DX 11.1

/sarcasm

#226811 Lets buy Rareware

I miss the Rare of the SNES/N64 days. :(

I never played Zelda 2, I really want to now though.......

Might I suggest a prescription of Valium before you embark on your journey? You'll need it. ;)

#223719 "Console Wars"

Posted by Crispy Bacon on 18 June 2013 - 03:59 PM

1- PS4
2- Wii U
3- XB1

Really do hope XB1 comes in last. However, I'm somewhat fearful that it'll do well due to average consumers not being informed of its policies. We'll see...

#223648 Lack of DirectX 11 support blocking Kingdom Hearts III from Wii U

Posted by Crispy Bacon on 18 June 2013 - 02:30 PM

Looking at the general themes and art-styles of these games, what on earth would they be doing in KH3 that wouldn't be possible on Wii U? Sounds like total BS. I'm just waiting for them to announce an iOS port so I can laugh at them even harder.

#221851 Electronic Arts will resume full support for Wii U when it "becomes a viable

Posted by Crispy Bacon on 14 June 2013 - 02:51 PM

A little advice to EA..... GAMES SELL CONSOLES. I know...... an earth-shattering revelation.

Edit: Yes, NFS:MW U was an excellent effort, but the other games were either lazy efforts or neglected as far as features and DLC. Nice try, EA...

#221827 The Wii U should have been as powerful as the Xbox one.

Posted by Crispy Bacon on 14 June 2013 - 01:54 PM

Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2 and X look absolutely insane. I have no worries. And this is just the beginning. Nintendo's output will only get better. If third-parties put in the same effort with their offerings and truly take advantage of the U's capabilities, Wii U will stand tall and proud. Sure, the other machines have more under the hood, but the Wii U has shown that it can produce some amazing results. It's all about the games and Nintendo always delivers. I tremble in excitement and anticipation for Metroid and Zelda. I can't wait!

#220205 Do you think x looks as good as ps4/xb1 games?

Posted by Crispy Bacon on 12 June 2013 - 06:38 AM

X's visuals are very impressive. I was concerned about Wii U's ability to compete with PS4 and XBOne, but those worries have been crushed. The other 2 machines are more powerful, yes, but I could care less. Bayo 2, MK8, X..... Nintendo has a very capable machine and this is just the beginning. By the end of the U's life cycle, we're gonna see visuals that'll melt our faces off. I'm excited!

A leak in print seems pretty legit.  Was it announced for PC before?

Last I heard, R* was considering both a PC and Wii U version, but there wasn't a 100% guarantee it would happen. But now....

#199364 Iwata is now CEO of NOA (discussion)

^ I think he means this is a thread for discussing the news.

Fair enough :)

I thought Reggie was the CEO.

I really don`t understand anything about corporations!

Nah. Reggie is and will continue to be President and COO. Tatsumi Kimishima was the CEO of NOA. He will now become NCL Managing Director in Kyoto.
