Wow dragons dogma on 360 is glitchy as all hell compared to ps3. It runs smoother. A lot smoother. BUt its pop in, both environment, and worse enemies and npc's is fricking HORRIBLE. Good thing none of those little craps really matter in dragons dogma though. Its all about the big bads in bitterblack.

Yeah, there are quite a few pop ins. I've gotten used to it, though. Doesn't ruin the experience for me. :D I'm doing a replay of it currently. Can't wait to get to bitterblack!

What is this nintendos creator program? I mean, I remember nintendo not allowing it at all before, and I didnt really care too too much, as I didnt really generally like lets players, because I feel its a way fo people to be vampires off of games by simply watching them instead of buying rthem... But, something abut this just really rubs me the wrong way... I might be doing a turn around on this lets play monetization thing....

And complicating this already precarious arrangement is that it hall hinges on youtubes psychotically overzealous content id program, which will just flag anything mindlessly without context, and Nintendo will never even look at it.

Yeah, I don't like the "bot" flagging of content. It's proven ridiculously BAD in other forms of media on youtube and even if you respond to flagged content because you think it's wrong, it takes at least several days or more to get any response to rectify the situation.

yeah I love the first tho has it's flaws mostly because it's technical limits and budget. Areas look the same and easy to get lost. Some 2D tropes taking yourself fully out of a dungeon and some really bad VA and a silly ending but I truly love it. So I have the PS1 version and the Japanese Saturn. lol yes I finished it in Japanese. Knew the game well enough. Music esp great. Happy console gamer has a hand drawn signed pic of Juston from the creator. May he RIP. jealous of that

Definately has flaws. But im definately one for flawed progression that will eventually be polished just right, than pretty de-evolution that will end up destroying your company and genre (Looks at pre-rendered back drop FF). I think the best thing about that game, considering the low budget and thus samey dungeon areas, would definately be the no random encounters. Without random encounters, you could afford to explore, and even get stuck in same looky loops. But man, had it been random enco...

By far the best in the numbered series. Game was a standout among other titles for its time. Which was 1993. Sega did this game so dirty with its horrible localization. 3 years it took to get this game to the west. And back then game design was moving at break neck speed. Game designing was improving by the same leaps and bounds as graphics and sounds for the era. 3 years may as well have been an eternity.
By the time it made it stateside, it was going toe to toe with games 3 years...

3 years newer, with 3 years more experience.
PhS4 was ahead of its contemporaries. It blew away ff3 and ffV. And those were good games.
But unlike squares RPG's, sega tok years to localize phantasy star, and the game that was ahead of its time in 1993
it was going against games that werent just ahead of their time in 1995, they were time defining. Sega sent it against chrono trigger and ff6. It never had a chance. I truly think to this day, if Sega had gotten...

Dear Squeenix: Assassins creed and uncharted are NOT adventure games. They are digital theme park rides. Squeenix is so far out of touch, they cant even create a survey to ask the right questions.

Eh, I don't like review scores because they're took generic. At the same time, I don't think that reviews are better without them. I kind of like Kotaku's "YES/NO/MAYBE" Review scorish thing. It's a nice little summary about the game that can function on it's own OR as prompting for more reading.
