Remember to control your expectations guys.
This.
Nintendo is going to reveal some great games.
But no console vendor has ever fully satisfied it's fans at E3.
Heck, the new PS4 reveal simply created more questions than it provided answers.
Just expect some nice games to be shown. Nintendo, since the n64 days has never had Zelda, Mario, Mario kart, donkey kong, metroid, star fox, "new and exciting third party game", etc. etc.
It's more been one great Nintendo game plus one great second or third party game, then a bunch of other stuff.
So let's not create expectations no company could hope to live up to.
Wish lists are nice.
Just don't let E3 be that one Christmas when you wrote to Santa and then were crushed because not many of those items were under the tree.
Heck, during the ps4 demo, I was expecting great things. But was kinda let down. Killzone looked meh, and only a tiny bit was gameplay. Falcons Panta Rhei engine looked amazing, even though it smacked of prerendered footage. But the "new ip" it was supposed to represent lacked. RePlace the dragon with ryu and make the fire out of a ha-do-ken, and people would have gone crazy. Or even make it from a resident evil game. Would be crazy. Instead of the underwhelming response it received.
So many things could have been expected. But they weren't realized there.
So we shouldn't set up our Nintendo expectations to be impossibly high either.
