People here seem overhyped for E3 13 over Reggie's statement about Wii U and E3 but i dont understand, how does any of this suggest Nintendo has something big planned for E3, someone please explain this to me.
I fail to see any evidence of Big Guns from Nintendo at E3 :|

Dude, c'mon are we still gonna act negative about this. Its E3, the Wii U is out in stores. Nintendo hasn't announced anything on Wii U besides firmware updates because everything will be revealed at E3.
So what if we are hyped, this is called the WII U FORUMS for a reason. I see Microsoft fans hyped yet their conference usually sucks.

Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
If this, plus some other stuff we don't know yet about and 3rd party fail to impress you, then I'm sorry for you :/

I am the hero this forum needs, but not the one it deserves.

Evidence?
If there's evidence of big games then Nintendo has failed on keeping them a secret. That's just what Nintendo does, they keep very secretive about things. Hell, we didn't even know what the home menu on the wii u would look like until a few months before it launched, let alone that Miiverse existed.
I'm not worried about Nintendo. I think they know what they're doing and have a great lineup ready for E3 on the wii u, they might even pull out a completely original IP. They probably did that new 3DS direct to get some 3DS news out of the way so their E3 would be better spaced out.
Anyway, Nintendo knows what to do in the situations, look at the 3DS; it was flopping and then BAM 3D mario, 2D mario, OoT3D, price cut, and a bunch of other things that I wouldn't know about because I don't have a 3DS.

We've seen some, like X and Pikmin, that's all I think? But most are still secret or have no footage/screenshots of them (Smash bros, 3D mario, ZELDA!?)

Nintendo has stated they with showcase a new 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and the new Smash game. How much more do you want from them? Third party developers will also showcase what they have plan for the Wii U. Nintendo has always been surreptitious, especially around E3 time. Are we all forgetting about Retro's game? They've been quietly lately. I'm pretty Nintendo plans on shocking on with whatever Retro are working on currently at the moment.

Miiverse was shown at E3 2012, or at least on a Nintendo Direct not long after.
This is where it ends

Dude.. who the Wii buys Nintendo consoles for COD DLC? I never bought DLC on ANY platform but well. If you don't like Mario Zelda or Metroid etc.. don't buy a Wii U.
