It was always animated, there used to be arrows that span in a circle when you touched it.

Hmmm, never noticed that.  I remember the bubble always disappearing for a moment but not animating.  Either way, it's still just as self explanatory as it ever was.

Depends on the game.

Try the youtube app.

I know my youtube app shows my id, so maybe you can move select user data.

i wanted to do it with someones zombiu data so he could transfer his mii and save data to his wii u if he ever  got one.

Anybody know how to put it into standby mode? All I seem to do is turn it off (red light) I have Rayman downloading now and wanted to try the standby thing, but can't figure It out.

The Wii U itself controls standby mode, sorry.

It's nice to see that they have added a Global screen size setting.

In WiiU Mode, everything now fits perfectly on my Sony Bravia when it's in 'Full Pixel' mode.  Unfortunately, this is not the case in 'Wii' mode where the screen is shrunk.

If I enable 'normal' rather than 'full pixel' on my tv, the Wii mode screen size is perfect.  Unfortunately, in WiiU mode (after fiddling with the WiiU screen size settings) there is then a slither of screen missing around the edge at best fit.

Now all they need to do is add a 'Wii mode screen size' menu and I'll be able to have a perfect size picture in both 'Wii' and 'WiiU' modes!

Otherwise, a great update! :)

This may never happen as it would be a very complicated change.

As it stands right now Nintendo use your console ID for the DRM, everything gets locked to your specific console like it did on the Wii.  To be able to make the DRM portable between consoles they would have to change how things works from the bottom up, no easy task.

I agree that it should be done, but the chances of it happening later is so much lower/harder than if they had built Nintendo Network from the ground up for this. :(

Did they finally make it so you don't have to have your Gamepad on the whole time you're watching Netflix?
