Suggestions on the forums, maybe the blog, skin etc.

I think it'd be a good idea to find some background pictures or something.
Perhaps the silhouette of a Wii with a question mark. Cuz some mystery is always awesome on any forums. XD

Definitely a good idea, and I've been thinking of it myself since before I even started the blog. But we'll need a lot more members to really make it happen.

I can understand that, but until we have more information about it... we could use the mystery factor to spawn curiosity and attract members.
Especially knowing that this place is the only Wii2 forums present so far.

Then again, I'm not the best psychologist out there (despite my wishes to brag about such skill). So if you think it's best to wait 'till we have more information instead, sure.

Well, yes; but as I specified, it'll be fading from and/or to a Wii silhouette (instead of a plain color).

Yeah, I've had a section for those two in mind. I'm not sure if there's enough demand for it, though; the RP and forum games sections at the Feldian Forums were a little failtastic in my opinion. Then again, we have many more active users here, so they probably have a better chance now. I'll ask the official question, then, to decide if it's worth it: how many of you would like a section for roleplaying and forum games?

I don't mind but I have no idea of my roleplaying abilities just yet, but if everyone wants to go ahead with some that would be cool, I'll just read them until I feel I can join in.

5 for a roleplaying section. Okay, I'll add it. In case I didn't already make it clear, you guys are on your own to organize RP's, since I'm not an RPer myself. I'm probably just gonna drop in for the occasional forum game.

May I suggest a general discussion thread also? It's a good idea in the future to keep the lobby not a cluttery.

Yeah, it's in the cards. I'm keeping it together with the Lobby for now so as not to let that place look too dead, but I'll probably add a general discussion section soon. Most likely before we reach 1000 posts.

We may have to wait for this, but I got a nice little idea. How about groups such as authors, artists, debaters and the such? We could add a debate section, where you actually have to try out for it and make the group.

Ripping off YAF a little (though I'm sure that wasn't the first place to start doing that)? Perhaps. I'd like to have a good, strong member base first, though. At this stage, author/artist/debate groups wouldn't make too much sense, as they would all sit almost empty.

Preferably, I'd like to also leave too much customization of the boards until after the upgrade to IP.Board, which may not happen until (or even after) E3. Groups shouldn't be anything too difficult to transfer across, but I'd like to risk as little data as possible in the eventual conversion.

Oh, just on a side note, General Discussion has been put off indefinitely. We're still pretty small, so I'm gonna keep it wedged together with Introductions for a while longer.
