What is your favourite thing about the Wii U?

I'm not going to be very original, but it's gotta be the Wii U gamepad itself. I mean I think it's great the fact that you can play the Wii U without the TV screen and you can use it as a limited but somewhat functional TV remote even without turning on the TV! (No I don't think I'm living in the 1990s).

Then, my second fav thing would be the Miiverse. I think it's great that you can ask for help or answer questions and look at cool drawings and give them Yeahs and etc...

What about yours?

The ability for offscreen play. Allows people to watch TV while I play Wii U.

Then the retro Nintendo games on VC.

I think the actual console design. I know its got a lot of hate but I love it. Quiet, small, and I can put 7-10 hours STRAIGHT without it breaking a sweat.

I have to agree with Blake, THe Off-TV Feature is just the best thing of the Wii U, my family are on the TV whenever they are home, but i can still play my Home TV Console on the gamepad in HD and its beautiful. Also i can take my gamepad to bed with me and just watch netflix on it.

Off tv play but I'd have to also say my favourite thing also holds my biggest hate the gamepad battery life. That's shocking.

I like the ways the gamepad is used in nintendo land, because now when you play with 3 people in total the screen doesn't have to split into 4, someone can just take the gamepad.

I honestly love the potential for the gamepad and TV integration for exclusive titles. Stuff like Wario G&W is really exciting to me, as this concept could carry on to the indie scene. Speaking of that, some of these IOS and Droid devs have a great deal of potential, but those games are limited by the lack of buttons (my opinion).

(Nintendo's IP's+Indie Devs)^GamePad=excitement

This will be interesting. I hope third parties end up on board. However, it will have to be a la Watch Dogs (separate development team), or it will always feel like tacked on half assery.

1. It's shipping now.

2. I can sell my games hassle-free if I wanted to.

3. I don't need to have an old Wii kicking around.

4. The games I have are fun

5. I have one.

I didn't know you could watch Netflix on the game pad. That's awesome. My fav has to be the off TV play As well. I like playing my game and watching TV at the same time.

The many things the Gamepad is capable of doing. Off-TV play has got to be my favorite. Being able to play a game, go on Miiverse, check out the eShop, and see what's happening on these forums without turning on the TV is great.

Off-tv play has become more and more of a liking to me lately, but I'd have to say the internet browser of all things.

Web browser is fast, very responsive, and super convenient as opposed to powering up my netbook or desktop, and i hate browsing on my "4g" phone...

Generic response, but I love playing with the gamepad.....I like how the controller feels in my hands.  I also like being able to watch a baseball game and then play a game on the gamepad too.
