Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

Looked pretty cartoony, like it was meant for kids. That's the impression I got from it. when I saw the original pic I thought it was going to have more realism to it. I'll wait and see...
I think Sonic's had enough Realism with Sonic 06, Edgy the Hedgehog, Sonic and the Black Night, and some portions of Generations.
It's actually really refreshing.

My only problem with the trailer is that it opens on a 2D section. The whole 2D/3D shifting was cool in Unleashed, overdone in Colours, and was just getting boring by Generations. I want my 3D Sonic to be in 3D...

Looks more like 3dland than galaxy, but it impressed me, I might buy it.

Looks a lot like the cancelled Sonic Xtreme, with the fish eye lens camera and platform design. It's looking great, day one buy for me. I'm hoping to see more of the 3DS version. It'll probably be like Sonic Colors where Dimps will be handling the handheld version, with a 2D platformer gameplay style.

After watching the trailer and reading IGN's recent article, I'm impressed and optimistic. From what I read, sonic team said they are focused on gameplay and controls first, everything else second. It is currently a day one buy for me.

I thought the graphics looked pretty cool, tho the background looked like it could use a little more detail and refining.

I never played any of those. I'm just saying that from the pic expected something less cartoony.
No it doesnt, but it does leave impressions, and mine was that they had children in mind when making this. Just look at the "bad guys".Art style does not dictate demographic

2009 called they want there graphics back
o_e
Idk what trailer you all watched but that looked disgusting (with the exception of the very opening cutscene that were pretty bad @ss)
But once he actually started running, the levels and the backgrounds just looked really gross..... bleh
Maybe you are all just delusional from Wii U game deprivation, Idunno but that did not look good visually at all
I'll still pick it up eventually, maybe later trailers will look better, But I was just hoping for something a little more after all that hype from the the SEGA/Ninty deal

Yeah I actually agree with you. I liked the opening, and I personally love the bright colors and cartoony graphics, but once things actually started going in the trailer, I thought the graphics took a huge dip in quality, with blurriness (that isn't meant to be there) and blockiness. I'll watch it again to make sure but...
I mean regardless, this is just a trailer, and I'm not dissing the game in anyway. The gameplay seems to look like a lot of fun. Hopefully I'm just wrong about those flaws, because I REALLY want to find a Sonic game I enjoy as much as Sonic Adventure Battle 2 for the gamecube

Thus are the ingredients to a GREAT game!
