Maybe back in 2006-2010 which was where its peek was but now the games don't sell that well anymore.

Yeah.... They dont need to sell a lot to be profitable.
On average, they sell around 1-2 million with a couple bombas (wii u one, 360 ports, tvland)
Unfortunately, Since they cost nothing to make, and nothing to advertise compared to say, assassins creed, it makes them extremely profitable.... Since so many of the stupid things have been made, with the large majority selling around 1-2 million, and a 2 million dev cost with couple hundred thousand in marketing instead of 20-50 million dev budget with 100 mil+ marketing like asscreed.... the return on investment is huge.... massive... bigger than asscreed which sells 10 million each (ps3+360).
Which is why we have a rabbids cartoon (which is going to psychotically send roi through the roof), and not an asscreed movie

Ubisoft has been praising the Wii U and telling people to trust Nintendo.
There's a slight chance Nintendo wants to unveil the games during their Direct.
I'd be surprised really if Ubisoft doesn't bring their next gen games to the Wii U.
They only have an hour direct... Right?
