I found this picture on Nintendo Life http://www.nintendolife.com/

It is the back of the cover of Pikmin 3 where "Brittany is one of the many female characters in upcoming Wii U games". I do not know what that means exactly, but it is weird. Does this mean games we don't know about? , or is this sort of games we already like how we can play as Peach in Super Mario 3d World? It mentions games, so I do not know what else they could be referring to.

Probably just referring to Peach, Dixie Kong and Brittany.... Bayonetta too perhaps

Nothing wrong with female characters as long as they don't act too girlie.

Yes for more girl power in games! I'd definitely love to see a Zelda game where we can actually play with Zelda :P If not only for a few levels or maybe some type of co-op mode with one player as Link and the other as Zelda... it could give a whole new twist to puzzles in dungeons.

Ironic how Nintendo seems to be the ONLY company putting in female characters in their titles.

This has been done. Twice now I believe.

Windwaker did it with Medli (I love medli, such a great character).

And Spirit tracks did it with dead Zelda.

I would most definately enjoy more of this, as they were both fantastic.

Square Enix would like to have a word with you, also how is that ironic?

definitely would be refreshing and great to see more female protagonists, especially for Nintendo titles since aside from Samus I honestly haven't seen many female protagonists in Nintendo games.

Because people like to whine and moan about Zelda and Peach (and their chronic kidnapping syndrome), unaware that Nintendo probably has more positive and diverse female protagonists than almost the entirety of every other company in the gaming industry. As for Square, they DID have good female protagonists. In the past. Not so much anymore.
