i went back to bb returned it, bawt a new one, same deal
pls help

Yeah, unless your PHD is in Electronic Engineering it may not necessarily be of help. I've seen many people with varying levels of education that can be tripped up by (what I perceive to be) simple things.
Are you connecting through HDMI or analogue cables? Where did you get the analogue cables (the Wii u doesn't come with any iirc)? are they component or composite?
when you press the power button on the Wii u (the gamepad still needs to be paired), does the small LED next to the button light up?
Can you confirm that the connectors between the Wii U, AC adaptor (the big one), and the power source are tight?
Please follow the included setup guide, and tell us exactly where it fails.
